Absolutely Fantastic Place to Stay!

What a beautiful location for a motel! The motel is very modern, with a beautiful shared terrace with steps down to the street. The lake is right across the street, as well as the dock. In summer, a ferry will take passengers across the lake to the island which is a National Park. I can't leave an honest review without mentioning how the customer service here was absolutely 5-Star! The front desk was very informative, and truly seemed to care that we enjoyed our stay in his town. The room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. We couldn't ask for more of our 1 night stay. Thank you so much for everything!

Endroit parfait si vous allez vous promener toute la journée et que vous cherchez seulement un endroit pour dormir. La chambre est simple, mais complète. L’hôtel vous offre les premières capsules Keurig gratuitement. À côté de l’hôtel se trouve le Pub du Lac : une excellente option pour les repas. Sinon, à quelques minutes de marche, il y a une bonne boulangerie. Tout au long de notre séjour, le personnel fut courtois et nous donnait de l’information pour s’orienter. Ce petit village a bien du charme et nous y retournerons bien certainement. Nous allons choisir à nouveau le motel Royal!

The Motel Royal exceeding our expectations. Very welcoming and friendly front desk. The balcony very well laid out with many seating options and the views were spectacular. Great walking options to restaurants, beach and view points. Will definitely recommend to friends and family visiting the area.

I often travel from PEI to Ottawa to see family and this is my favorite place to stay for the night. The view of the lake is beautiful and the motel is a perfect location with everything you need. The staff are so friendly. Sebastien is amazing! Without even me asking, he helped me take some stuff to my room when I arrived. I thought that was extremely kind.
