A solo traveller review in Otrabanda

It was a good Hotel offering comfort at a decent price . Its a good Hotel which caters to solo travellers. The complimentary breakfast is a great touch and the room tea was also tasty .

They lied to their guess they say they have a shuttle waiting for you at the airport and they don’t have it. I went and talk to the manager and he looked the other way that’s a rip off they should not lie to their guess they don’t have shadow and they say they have it. I should get my money back it cost me $ $80 and Taxi back-and-forth to the airport they rip me off

As a local I stayed there during the Kaya Kaya event that was held in Otrobanda on the 24th of August'24 and the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival that was on the 29th till the 30 of August'24. It was convient for me because, I live far from the events. This hotel was near the events which saved me money on gas and time to park the car somewhere. However, parking lots at the hotel are limited The rooms were clean and it had good wifi connection. The rooms had smart TV so you could easily connect to your Youtube or Netflix account. The breakfast was simple but good. I saw that there was a pool but it's out of order.

Beware of the fake and old dates pictures and revs

Hotel is just ok for spending the night. The pool doesn’t exist any more, it’s rotten and abandoned. It’s right next to a street where locals shout all the time while talking to each other and will be annoying. Also extremely loud cars and motorcycles like to drive through there specially during the night and it’s frustrating! The best is the dinner experience. Chef Javier os the best of all around and his food is unbelievable delicious. Worth the visit to the restaurant even if you’re not staying at the hotel.

Terrible first experience; Asked to speak to manager msg not given front desk did not care Pillows terrible and ripped, queried it never addressed Wrong room given queried it never addressed Rude front desk guy grey hair , did not care about having a baby and offloading the family at front before parking No parking secured small limited and told to park on road when no park found The only memorable positive is the cook on morning she was friendly and caring. I'd like one of the owners to contact me on this if they actually care about their paying customers Otherwise I suggest future persons stay away from here it isn't worth it . I would give here 1 star

The worst hotel i ever stayed at. The pictures on their website don't reflect the reality. There's no pool but when you search images on goggle, it suggests the hotel has a pool. Even though the accommodation includes breakfast, there was never enough of it. It's like they cooked 2 pancakes at the time and were skimpy about anything. Just terrible. Obviously the manager doesn't like to feed their guests. The hotel needs updates throughout. No elevator so you need to drag your baggage up the stairs. Calling the reception which is 24/7, no one picks up. Dirty, most things are broken and need replacement. No coffee available after breakfast, just skimpy on everything. We stayed in one room with our child. 3 people, two towels...With a little investment, this place has a potential.

The property is very old. Looks nothing like the pictures on the internet. However, the area is very walkable and there is a lot to do nearby that doesn’t require a taxi. The hirt girl who works the bar was very aggressive and down right rude my last night. I asked for a drink and she literally said “Oh my God” and then started speaking in her native tongue slamming and throwing things around. A young man came over and took my payment. He was very nice. But that girl needs to quit if she’s that unhappy about making a drink for a paying customer. Especially when the drinks are over priced as well as the hotel! The gentleman who works the desk is super nice and even let me use some lotion because I left mine. He is the only reason I’m giving them any stars. Hotel needs to be remodeled and deep cleaned.

It was a nice stay for us who needed one night between flights The place is celan. Air conditioner in the room nice and cool. Hot water in the shower and it was nice and clean The staff was kind and always smiling especially the girl at the front desk. The location is amazing. We could walk to the Kura Huland and enjoy dining, and also walk to the floating bridge and all the area around Otrobanda Also walking distance to lots of amenities

Hotel velho. Acredito que foi um ótimo hotel no passado. Sem serviço de limpeza de quarto, secador de cabelo estragado. Uma das pias do banheiro não funcionava. Café da manhã fraco. Localização boa. Funcionários atenciosos. O hotel precisava de uma pequena reforma. O hotel está latgado.
