Pros: excellent location for visitors. Close to the South Gate traditional market, the city hall, the palaces, pickup point for the city tour bus, walking distance to the central train station, galleries, etc. You can use the on-site washer and dryer on the top floor. There is a small shared kitchen. Cons: really small rooms, small bathrooms. There was no one during check-in. The older gentleman walked by without saying a word or providing information until I asked in Korean. For the price and the convenient location, it was worth 3 stars.

I was shocked to find out there is no shower not even a shared shower room. The room has a toilet and sink with a hose to bathe. In the middle of Summer I am sweating and sticky- that is unacceptable to have no access to showers.

Air conditoner was bad so we suffered from warm room. Unfortunately when you take out the room key everything shuts down so when you return it takes very long time to get little air that we got from air conditioner. I loved the people who owned and managed the property. Location was very convenient and close to transportation.

I enjoyed my stay with my siblings, the rooms are a bit small but it was okay with us since we were out most of the time. The bathroom is fine, although I didnt really like that your silhouette can be seen, since its frosted glass. Area has lots of dinning, convenient stores around to that are close by. The Naedaemun market is just on the opposite side of a big street, Myeongdong is also like about a 15 mintue walk. Overall, enjoyed my stay! Thank you :)

My secondary residence in Seoul !
The service was amazing, friendly, proactive. They offered to let us use the washing mashine and tumble dryer for free. I went back late, they had put my clothes through the drier, so great. There's also a scale to check the luggages weight before check-in. They thought of everything, and for a reasonable price. A family business handled seriously. My wife and I loved it. Thank you, keep up the good job!

Dirty Bedsheet and Bad Services
When I went back to the hostel in night, the young guy who was at check in counter in the afternoon was not seen, only an old lady there who didn't understand English, I was asking about the laundry service since it was mentioned that there were laundry facilities on the booking page. The old lady said I could use the washing machine but I had to hang my clothes dry by using hanging rack, only if the clothes couldn't be dried in the morning then only I could use the dryer, the reason was because if I put the clothes that was just done washing into the dryer, it would take a long time to dry and so much of electricity would be used. This was very ridiculous to me that an operator rejected the guest from using the facility just to save on electricity. Besides, the bedsheet of the bed was very dusty like it was never cleaned and changed at all. I would never came back to this hostel again. I hope that the operator could improve on the service.

Great location
Great location in Myeondong across from Namdaemun market. Best way to find it on Naver is VIP Tuna. If you’re using the public rail transportation and have luggage, go towards entrance of Deoksugung Palace for the elevator into the station (kind of across city hall). About the space… pretty basic accommodations with sheets/blanket and one pillow. It is a med firm pillow which I like. Bed was fine. Mini fridge with cups to use. Water in hallway. Towels provided are mini too. Bathroom is setup where the shower is the entire room once you step in with the sink feeding the shower head water. Surprisingly I liked the sprayer head and it hot hot enough. There are shower slippers and regular slippers. There was a little coat rack to hang up some stuff. Check in was easy and the front desk staff was friendly. For what I needed and the amount of time I actually was in the room it was great. I really liked the location and would stay here again especially as a solo traveler.
