A hidden Gem
A hidden gem! Friendly from checking in to check out. Large rooms, perfectly clean and personal notes and flowers all make for a fabulous day at St. Maarten hidden gem. Latoya at front desk is a huge asset, and lovely. Christine in housekeeping keeps us smiling. Great location, steps from the beach, steps from local pubs and steps from high-end restaurants, as well as groceries and shopping. I will definitely stay here again on a respite from my home on Saba.

Comfortable and friendly
Extremely friendly and welcoming. Very comfortable room that felt homey with a nice welcome letter and delicious tea in the lobby. Lots of restaurants in a walkable distance nearby.

A Great Place to Stay in Paradise
We had a fantastic stay at Bakers Suites! Alexia and all the employees were super helpful and accommodating. Great location right by the beach, restaurants and cute stores. The room was clean and quite large. The bed was comfortable too! A great place to stay in paradise!

Just ok
Reasonable. The big positive aspect of this hotel is the customer service. Everybody is willing to help, Is kind and has a smile on their face. Latoya from the front desk and Cristina on housekeeping deserve 10 starts each. The hotel needs an update and maintenance. Some balcony doors have the locks and/or handles broken. Everything in the room is outdated. There were maintenance topics I needed assistance with (lamps broken, remote w/out batteries, no enough pressure on water) that were taken care of however I would expect this is handled by proactive maintenance rather than having the guest finding and reporting the issues. Even when the beach is one building ahead it’s not the nicest beach on the island. We ended up renting a car and going to other beaches.

Great stay in Simpson Bay
Baker’s Suites is a wonderful place to stay. They are welcoming and the location is great. The cleaning professional, Joycelyn, is very kind and does an amazing job! Latoya is also very helpful at the Front Desk. Be sure to try the Conch Fritters at Lee’s next door!

Bakers is very centrally located with beach, restaurants, bars and grocery stores. Super easy to get to and Close to airport. The best part however is the friendliness of the staff. Latoya greeted us with a warm smile from ear to ear and made us laugh right off the hop. Cleaning staff were eager to please and equally as warm. Very accommodating. Bakers was recommended by a friend to us and we would stay there again. Bonus that there is a car rental company in same building.
