A solid choice

The resort was great. We got a swim up suite but I was disappointed that it didn’t have a full body mirror. Just the bathroom mirror and for a petite woman like me barely was able to get dress for the evening. For the prices we paid and the amount of space we had, there were nowhere to place our suitcases. As I am someone who dislike placing my bags and suitcases on the floor. And ***BEWARE I got multiple bed bugs bite. My partner however did not. I was bit by mosquitoes and he didn’t either. Bring insect repellent. Lots of ants and mosquitoes infestations. The beach was hard to get in, very rocky (big rocks) so bring swimming shoes. Overall, we had a wonderful time. Swim up suite is a must and staff were amazing, food was a miss and hit but all the staff made it a great experience.

Vi hadde et svært bra opphold på 6 netter. Maten på hotellet er svært variert og utvalget er bra. Jevnt over meget god kvalitet. Nylaget omelett og tacos til frokost og lunsj er topp. Rommet var stort og bra. Vi hadde rom med utgang til basseng og dette kan anbefales. Hotellet har shuttle buss som går til Playa del Carmen flere ganger pr dag. Koster $5 pr person pr vei.

Relaxation, sun, amazing staff, beautiful room

The swim out room was beyond worth it! We spent so much time there. Food was ok, the buffet was actually our fav. Beach was cute, but rocky if you go in the water- you need water shoes. Workers were everywhere always cleaning and happy- they were all wonderful. Full service drinks delivered to us at our room! Beautiful weather. Would absolutely come back.

The property did a great job hosting, there were different events daily and the beach was very close and clean. First time not being sold on a timeshare while at a facility. They even upgraded our room for free. Definitely recommend.

Incredible. We had a group of friends and couldnt have asked for a better time. Jonathan and Luna (i think that was their names) running the entertainment evey night did a great job. Every night had entertainment. Casino games. A mexican game night. And the prizes were hats tshirts etc. Not just junk. We did a fishing excursion. Chefs Rubicel and Hector cooked up the fish we caught and it was delicious. The food was great at the buffet. Im usually a "reservation every night" guy but the buffet was so good and had pretty much all the dishes anyway. You really do go up to the counter and pick out a steak. And they cook it perfectly. The tacos were great. There was a pork station that I will compare every buffet to now. They did sushi one night and brought in the chef from the restaurant and he hand made it for you. So good. The beach resturant was great. Hot food and a nacho bar. Ceviche out in the sun isnt for me but the wings were way better than I expected. Good drinks. Theyll make you whatever you want and a good selection. Good friendly service from every one. Stage shows were fun. Good pool. We were back in the suite area so it was nice and quiet. The foam party was cool. The batting cages are probably more fun in Not August. We were melting but they worked. Slight issue with our reservation but the guy in the office knew exactly how we could correct it. Bed was pretty uncomfortable. Lock your sliding door if on the first floor. Coatis know how to open them.

The hotel was nice and comfortable. The food was very good, but the service in the restaurants was sometimes lacking in that it was very slow. The drinks were very good and bar service was great. We also enjoyed the nightly entertainment. The beach was a short walk, and had lots of chairs, a beach bar and small outdoor cafe. There are a lot of rocks in the water so bring water shoes. We had a nice room with a king bed, pool view and large balcony. Pool towels are in the room, not the pool. We didn’t have a way to exchange wet pool towels except to go through housekeeping. Our room never felt really clean. The floor wasn’t swept daily, and there were cobwebs behind the door. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Night entertainment was good, staff was great at the bars while some of the wait staff at the Yucatan buffet need to be more attentive. The room where we were had a small water leak coming from back of the toilet upon arrival (There was maintenance staff hammering for couple of days in the next room), went about my business thinking nothing if it..It was flooding the entrance to the the room a couple of days later. We were moved to a different room where the walls in the bathroom looked just like the other bathroom with the paint blowing out from humidity and a strong mildew smell.

Rooms were not the cleanest and the resort was a bit old. Wait staff at the restaurants were very rude and not accommodating, but the staff everywhere else was very kind. Beach access was great (probably the nicest along that whole stretch of resorts) and it was always easy to find a spot. The resort is not big and so it is easy to get around.

Considering this is meant to be a bit more of a "budget friendly" all inclusive, it had everything we could have wanted. Had a junior deluxe swim out unit and it was fantastic, highly recommend the swim out room. Food was plentiful and tasty, entertainment was surprisingly good, drinks were extra boozy, and there was plenty of activities to keep us busy for a week. Plus you get access to all the amenities of the much larger resort right next door (like night club, sports bar, beach volleyball) and everything takes only minutes to walk to. Highly recommend this resort!
