Pools close at 8, which is nonsense. Booked honeymoon suite, didn’t get a private dinner. The resort cancelled it sighting rain, the sky’s were clear all day. Hibachi was really nice. Concierge is a joke. P (concierge manager), rude and deceitful. Post they have 6 restaurants- rarely open. Room service said would be 45 minutes, took 1.5 hours. The valets and bartenders are the only personal people who seem to care about the customer experience. Waiters and concierge all rude. Maybe it was because we were from the US. Really seemed like a we have your money anyway and do not care mentality. Will not return to a Princess resort. Looked amazing on paper. Super disappointed. Pro’s Valet/bartenders Excursions were amazing but can get those anywhere. Pools were nice, but closing at 8 at an adult all inclusive is ridiculous.

The staff were all amazing! Very friendly, accommodating, and made you feel like family! The food options were all fantastic! It was a great mix of relaxation and lots of entertainment! The day time activities at the main pool were all engaging and entertaining while still allowing a good atmosphere to relax in. There was a show every evening as well to finish the night off after a delicious dinner! The whole place was clean they did a great job of keeping up with the maintenance. We would absolutely love to come back!

Les restos ne sont plus aussi bon qu avant et au lieu d avoir accès à tous les restos ils ont limite et plusieurs étaient fermes et ouvert à tour de rôle. Ça m’a beaucoup déçu. Qualité du déjeuner 10/10 Dîner / 6/10 Souper 6/10.

It was quiet and relaxing. The resort could do better letting guests know what activities are going on, liking putting notices in the room or having a channel dedicated to the resort with information. Also possibly a map of the resort where everything is located as well. About the rooms, definitely could use more lighting and a full length mirror.

Definitely not a 5 star resort! The only restaurant we could ever get into was the buffet, which is very small with minimal options compared to many other resorts I've been to. The other were closed every other night, so why am I paying for an all inclusive? As someone else mentioned, the maintenance of the property could be better. Yes, there are animals that roam freely as it is on a nature reserve, but the garbage everywhere attracts them even more, and they could clean up the poop that's all over the walkways a little more, but that isn't even my biggest issue. I was in Mexico for dental tourism. I had surgery and needed to rest to heal. The beds here are like sleeping on a board, the pillows are awful and every night I had tiny little bugs crawling all over me. My brother had severe allergic reaction to all of the animals, no fault of the resort, but I guess we were expected to stay and have him suffer. After the 3rd day we had to check out halfway through our stay and book another resort. I couldn't take not being able to sleep and my brother couldn't take the allergies anymore. The animals will rummage through your stuff when you are at the pool, or if you have anything on the balcony, leaving their fur and dander on your stuff. The hotel is refusing even a 50 percent refund of the the remainder of the stay that we could not tolerate. I didn' expect a full refund or even a refund of the days that we were there, but they refused and did not care.

The property was beautiful and the staff went above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. I was very disappointed that we could not use the beach. The smell was horrific. Not the hotels fault. My only complaint was that the gym was closed 3 of the 7 days that we were there, only 2 of the 4 restaurants were open each day and there wasn’t any prior warning as to which ones would be closed. The mosquitos were unbearable. Music was in the outside plaza and the mosquitos feasted on everyone. 😁. The outside plaza has no overhead fans so it was very hot sitting in there while being bit by mosquitoes. Would definitely go back to this resort but not in the summer.

We booked the swim out pool suite. Everyone was attentive and pleasant. Fabiola AKA Fabi, the photographer, was such a sweetheart! We enjoyed our sessions with her and we highly recommend her to everyone! I set up a surprise for my husband in celebration of our 34th wedding anniversary. Paulette did not disappoint me. Our room was ready for our arrival with no issues. The room was decorated with balloons, rose petals and the flameless candles! Thank you Platinum Yukatan for a wonderful experience. Will be going again!

Here’s what I will say invest in some full length mirrors for the rooms. In rooms like mine that had the outdoor tubs maybe take note that some, well need replacing. The restaurants only opening every other night seemed quite limiting. With that said they were crowded as only two were open the staff did their best but some nights the food was cold. Me personally unless gifted I would not come back. I also celebrated my 50th birthday they did not send one piece of cake to my room to say happy birthday I have never went to a hotel and never had them at least give you a slice of cake. Lastly selling $32 usd sun block is just crazy work I get needing to make a profit that is just wild. Best of luck to y’all.

The good: employees very friendly and courteous, good quality facilities and internet access. The bad: room service SUCKS!!! They act like they don’t want to service you and food arrives cold every single time plus selection is VERY limited, one of the times l order room service they didn’t even deliver it and l guess they noticed cause they called to ask and when l told him l never got my order he said he was going to check and l didn’t hear from him again so l ended up going to the buffet restaurant, Specialty restaurant are not open daily. Night show was cancelled and no notice was given. I have stayed at other resorts before and they had staff driving people around in golf carts 24-7 but not at this one. Is not convenient walking long distances to go eat or do anything. My bathroom had mold. Patio could’ve used a good swepping. Had to purchase a $1,600 pesos bottle to be able to make a “reservation” at one of the restaurants. Suppoused to be “All inclusive” but choices for drinks and food are limited or available for an extra charge🙄

Stayed here in August 2025. I think the pictures on the site are a bit more deceiving than what is in person. Overall, it was an ok resort to stay in. The staff were all incredibly kind and accommodating. However, the facilities and rooms themselves appeared to be a bit rundown and at times dirty. The rooms themselves were fine, but also need renovations and full deep cleanings. The food there was decent but nothing impressive. The beach area unfortunately had massive amounts of seaweed that made it impossible to go into the water and also had a strong smell which at times carried into the resort. The main pool area at times stayed noisy because of ongoing activities that were being done by the activities team. But there was another smaller pool, which was a lot calmer. The restaurants there were fairly nice however you were unable to make a reservation in advance and needed to present yourself a couple hours before dinner to make the reservation. If you are booking via Expedia, it is encouraged that you confirm in advance with the resort what you are booking is what you will be getting. When we arrived there were two rooms that we requested have two double beds. When we were checking in, they stated that this was not the case and provided the two rooms with one king size bed.I showed them the Expedia confirmation, but they stated that that was not what they had on their end. They were able to accommodate us in the end, but another detail to be mindful of beforehand.

It’s a really good resort. Really enjoyed the swim up suites. It would be have been great if all of the restaurants were open every night. They rotate during the week and you only have 2 or 3 to choose from. It was an overall good experience though.
