Couldn't be any worse
1 week ago before my arrival, I called the hotel to help me booked the pick-up service because I will arrive in the midnight. I even double confirmed with them by e-mail. However, nobody came to pick me up, so I had to take taxi to go to the hotel by myself. When I arrived it was already 1:30AM. I was super tired and had to get up early the next day to catch a ferry, so all I wanted was to go to bed as soon as possible. But the hotel told me all room were full! He said it must be a system problem, but I guess it was just over booked. I asked for refund, but he said he will help me find a room to sleep. I waited 30 mins and then I found out "a room to sleep" means his apartment!!(He lives with his brother, not alone...So you could imagine it's not safe for a single girl.) I was totally upset but he insisted that he can't give money back to me. He went to a hotel next to them to ask if they have room available, where looks poor and much cheaper than this hotel. Anyway, it was full as well. He didn't try to ask other hotels, he let me sit outside of their lobby until morning. After several times of negotiation, finally he agreed to give refund to me. But he would give back only 65% of my money because they still have to pay the commission to the booking website. But overbooking is totally not my fault, why would I pay for that!? In the end, I only got 50TL, which is much less than 65% that he promised because they don't have enough euros....I totally don't recommend this hotel!
