We loved the atmosphere and the people for the most part. However, the restaurants are not open regularly. that was a problem the fact that we pay more for luxury and end up having to go to grand made no sense The toilet seat is smaller than the toilet bowl.the beds were horrible. The beds were soft and caving on one side where two people could not sleep on it My wife has spinal issues and for her she was uncomfortable and ended up sleeping on the couch. The tub was not clean. I had to request housekeeping to come up and clean it. The shower stall looks like there might be mold in it. There were also areas of the building that had this really moldy, wet carpet smell. The balcony was dirty and not cleaned while we were there. We tried to make the best of these situations because we paid for it and we know better. But I think overall for us the worst was feeling like we were held captive for 4 hours at a 90 minute promotion. To talk about something we did not come on vacation to talk about. Our accountant would’ve had a next to come and just decide to spend $22,000 or whatever they’re asking of us which is very stressful as we did not come on our vacation for that and I think that was very disrespectful on all level you don’t ask someone to spend 90 minutes with you even two hours, and after that we still had to be held longer than we wanted to be because you still kept pushing your own agenda regardless of what the person said. Indeed, it left a bad taste in our mouths.

Excellent service, overall wonderful. You need ice order 30 min ahead or go to the service bar and get ice ps bring your yeti ice water bottle to fill ice. And you're personal snorkeling gear.

Jamaica is beautiful. But I don’t feel this property/experience was worth the price. Every time we sat out on our oceanfront balcony (which we upgraded to) we were accosted by cigarette smoke and/or a loud barking dog. Not peaceful at all. “Adults only” is false. At restaurants, pools, beach, excursions, etc you’ll find kids. The cocktails were weak and watery. The dinner experiences were nice. The advertised disco and casino were never open. The transfer service that is on BP website didn’t pick up/drop off from OCJ airport where we flew in/out. Would come back to Jamaica, but would stay elsewhere.

The food was decent, esply breakfast. With one exception, staff were pleasant and service minded. Not a lot of dining options though. However, a hotel that won't deliver a glass of wine to your room when you ask for room service is not a true 5***** property.

The food was excellent. The staff was mostly friendly. We asked twice for an extra pillow and they failed to respond either time. The elevators are rarely in working order.
