During a recent road trip with my brother, I developed an intense migraine and needed an unscheduled day and night of peaceful respite to recover and continue the trip. This hotel in Nicholasville was perfect. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the staff was friendly and accommodating. This was exactly what I needed. The next day we even added Nicholasville to our list of explorations along our road trip and liked it so much, we plan to visit again!

Nice place. Pros: beds were comfortable, bedside lights were great, breakfast was good but lacked variety over the course of our stay, staff was very friendly and in general the place was clean. Cons: chairs in the room were awful making it uncomfortable to hang out in there; in one room there was a creepy looking mold growing behind the toilet. While there was an ice machine, there were no vending machines with empty spaces where they should have been. As for ecofriendly aspects, there was NO evidence of anything ecofriendly. We were not unhappy with our stay, but there were several things that were lacking.

While the gentleman at the front desk was nice, the room was outdated and there was black mold in the shower and window seal. It was very musty smelling and the towels were not the whitest. Very disappointing as we have stayed here in the past and do not recall it being so bad. The TV was shot to the point you just saw the lights showing through the screen. We could not get another room elsewhere as everything was sold out for festival.

I ended up with a rash after staying for 3 nights. My husband said it might be the detergent but they look like bites more than skin irritation. Check in staff was friendly. There was a band there making loud music each night. It was hard to sleep and many other patron we spoke with said they even asked to change rooms due to the noise.

Certainly impressed with the state of the hotel compared to a few years ago. Beds are super comfortable and a personal favorite of mine is all of the fluffy yet supportive pillows you get on the bed unlike most other hotels. Staff is always welcoming & helpful with anything you need 😊.

The room smelled clean. Plenty of space. Lots of charging ports. Excellent lighting options. Room with single king bed had a spacious sitting area with a simple desk for office duties on the go. Price was fair. We were going to stop at Danville. But they were all full. This motel had great parking and it was quiet. A great breakfast is included, biscuits, gravy, eggs, sausage, waffles, and so forth. Along with the cereals and toast. Not a lot of options for an old fat diabetic but it was excellent all the same. And very friendly polite staff. From my perspective in room 319. Happy Trails Folks - Philip
