The location is a little far away from downtown but close to a MRT station, so there are restaurants or grocery stores within walking distances but not too many choices. There is no staff after 9 PM therefore if it's the first time to stay there it might not be easy to figure out how to find your key and room. The breakfast starts from 8 AM which is a little late for people like me who got up early because of jet lag, however you can have breads, pastries, coffee, tea and order omelet or sausages. I didn't have time for the breakfast on the 2nd day as I need to catch a flight departed at 9:30 AM. The overall cost / performance is good and is a good low-cost choice.

Unser Aufenthalt war soweit i.O., allerdings waren die Betten=Matratzen sehr weich und daher schlecht geschlafen. Auch die Eßzimmerstühle waren unbequem, man konnte nicht lange darauf sitzen. Die Sauberkeit war soweit gut, eine Grundreinigung könnte dennoch nicht schaden. Das Frühstück ist absolut ausbaufähig, denn auch bei vegetarischen Varianten kann man mehr Auswahl bieten, somit auch Abwechslung anbieten.

The place was very nice. however we were in the oak room, and one of the employee's area is right next to the back bedroom and it was a bit wierd being in our bedroom and hearing a person cough and such. Would be good to make that more sound proof because if we could hear the employee, they could hear us talking.

Location surpassed expectations. So convenient to airport and to the city and even to the wedding at VanDusen that we were there to attend. The bed was soooo comfy, we fell asleep as soon as we hit the mattress. The front desk folks were SO kind and took time out of their day to even text us pictures of where the iron we needed was while we were out and about. Breakfast was delicious and the cooks were very attentive and nice. Hot breakfast, even during the off season! Looking forward to staying here again :)

From the moment we walked onto the property we were welcomed with kindness and generosity. The staff are friendly and very accommodating. The homes are gorgeous inside and out. It felt like we walked into a beautiful English home in the countryside, not in a bustling metropolis. Considering how close the property is to Cambie St. and Broadway, I was suprised how very quiet the neighborhood is! The common areas are bright, clean and cozy. Our room had a kitchen with a small eating area and two separate bedrooms and a decent sized bathroom. Our home away from home was very clean, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The breakfast (which is included) consisted of juice and coffee, yogurt, cereal and a option of freshly cooked eggs. It also had the best croissants I've had in a long time! The reception area has plenty of comfortable seating and information about what the city has to offer. For the reasonable price, you can't beat the location! It's a 20 minute skytrain ride from the airport, ten minutes to the waterfront and a 10 minute stroll to the false creek walk. This property also has free parking available, which is impossible to find in Vancouver! I will definitely be returning to this property during future stays in Vancouver!!

This is a perfect hotel when you need to be close to a hospital (2 close by) for a family member. Owner was always available to meet any sudden change of plans or meet any other needs.
