Nice surprise in Tacloban

Hotel in the centre of town and close to everything, room is a good size and air con works fine. The staff were extremely professional and helpful. The breakfast was very good and the coffee kept flowing, the staff at breakfast were also very friendly. I will stay here again on my next visit to Tacloban.

The staff is very good it’s two restaurants are diverse and good the pool never seems to be working!! However it is a good choice for foreigners with Filipino family AC good hot water and good maintenance definitely in top 5 of Leyte, Tacloban

Cockroach infested

I have stayed here several times in the last decade & it’s falling apart. The staff are friendly & helpful but overall the place is tired. The pool is out of order & has been so for months according to the staff. My family room has had a cockroach infestation, I killed several huge cockroaches, I sensed something was moving in the room at night & turned on the light, several roaches running around which scared the life out of my kids, I complained & they fumigated the room only to find more running around the next night. The only saving grace is the restaurant on the 9th floor is very good as is staff.

The staff are all pretty nice and friendly. Our room stayed warm even with the air on. It’s like the AC unit in the room wasn’t pumping enough air out and it’s a pretty small room. The main dining area downstairs is nice. The breakfast is excellent. Their lunch and dinner menu are the same. It’s a vast menu and there aren’t a lot of options for people who do not eat pork or seafood. There are 2 other restaurants I believe on the 9th floor that we ended up ordering from. Overall the stay was decent.

Heat exhaust blast directly on balcony overlooking ocean (unusable). TV cable reception extremely poor; wavering continuously. No face towels. Loud music in room from pool area until 9:30PM

This was my second reservation for this hotel. In my first reservation things did not go well. This reservation things were much better. We had a very large room. Two floors. Good for 4. Booked for two nights. That also included four free breakfasts for each morning. We were only two. Because of a change in schedule we could not stay the whole night on the second night. I needed to travel early to Manila for my return flight to my country. Because of this situation, they allowed us to have breakfast twice on the same day (both still free), and we did take for the second breakfast (which we had for lunch before I travelled to airport for my flight). A second bonus.... because I did not complete my stay that night, they gave me a partial refund for the time I did not use. That was awesome. Thank you Tris. I wanted to give her a hug and a kiss... hahahaha

Reasonably priced stay in Tacloban City. Not a luxury property, but aspiring to be better than average for the area. Three restaurants with good quality food, as well as a coffee shop in the lobby. The Japanese place on the roof had a hip atmosphere and delicious sushi and ramen. Rooms are on the small side but with very comfortable beds. WiFi was inconsistent and AC needed to be repaired.
