Centurion was one of our best stays. It is said that the people make the place, and this is the absolute truth about this hotel. I cannot say enough about the helpful, friendly staff, who all went above and beyond to answer our questions and set the stage for our first brilliant trip to Japan. An added bonus is the convenience of the Akasaka neighborhood, the clean rooms, and musically themed lobby. I cannot wait to return to this lovely hotel in Tokyo.

Hotels.com books to the ‘Annex’ across the street from the Centurion, but this was not clear when we made the booking. The Annex rooms are very dated and run down, but quirky in their own right. Also disappointed that the onsen was for men only and with an additional 500yen fee. The location was fantastic, close to train station and dining and full of street activity. And our room was surprisingly quiet for how busy it was outside. There was no free breakfast or lounge area.
