It's evident that this hotel was newly renovated. It was lovely, with a beautiful and welcoming front lobby. The desk clerk who greeted us spoke English very well and was nice. The rooms were beautiful (I did love the shower), but we paid for a mountain view and were given the view of a neighbor's rooftop with a slice of a mountain visible from the corner of the window. Anything you can imagine is available at this hotel...for a fee. The website says parking on site. While that's true, it's only available if you pay an extra 20 CHF per day. Need an extra pillow? A fee? Want fresh towels? A fee. Want your linens changed? A fee. Get my drift? The included breakfast was ok. It was filling, but NOT worth 17-20 CHF. (Breakfast included: rolls, Gouda, salami, butter, jam, cereal, yogurt, scrambled eggs, and rice. Coffee, tea, and orange juice.)
The neighborhood is lovely and it is conveniently located next to a train station, just be prepared to pay.
