I loved this space - though it is dated, it feels like "old Bali". The garden view and pool were enjoyable and easy to relax in. Everything was very walkable. The beds were a bit firm, but to some they would enjoy this. Staff was friendly and the grounds are kept nicely.

We have traveled to Bali six times. We split our four weeks between two hotels. Garden view is one of them. It is truly a tropical garden. And it’s just enough off the beaten track to enjoy a more relaxed pace away from the Ubud city center on monkey forest road.

Not bad, but not so good too.. We had a nice stay but unfortunately our room was different from the pictures, bathroom is really old and not clean. No hot water most of the time. The room is full of mosquitoes.. Staff was adorable, good service. Food is good. Pool is enjoyable.

I understand that the Hotel is very old and needs remodeling, however for them to only have very brown discolored previously white towels with brown spots on them and the bathrooms very dirty with leaks from the toilet, I think that is very poor

Mixed feelings and had infestation after "clean"

So the pool, staff, private terrace and location are great. However the room, bathroom and insect infestation which was on my second night when bed sheets were changed left me hating it, as I'm still itching. There's no net over bed as advertised, no shower curtain, so poorly designed, no glass in bathroom window, 2 hot taps. Gap in door from terrace. Breakfast was good. Entrance to monkey park is currently closed due to maintenance, so need to go down narrow, heavily polluted with scooters alleyway to access park. Not hotel fault, but good to advise. Monkeys really close, 1 jumped into hotel, which I enjoyed how close they were, but might put people off. A/c unit makes a noise every 5 mins. Hear other guests at night, but also hear the monkeys too. No kettle in room or TV. Nice restaurant close by I just wish they had a do not disturb sign, so that no one would have entered my room during my stay, which is how I got infestation in the bed sheets, as first night was fine

Fint hotel med god service og en rigtig dejlig pool. Hotellet var rigtig fint. Værelset var også OK ift. hvad prisen var. Der var dog dårligt lys sat op, så om aftenen var det ikke så hyggeligt at være på værelset.

Garden of Eden!

Wonderful garden of Eden! Really nice place, just by the Monkey forest, so you can expect some playful visitors now and then. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff and great breakfast. The only thing: the hotel has seen some better days. It could use some fresh paint on the rooms and some redecorating, just to make the room more useful - some bedside tables with light, changing of the shower (and cleaning it) also water is dripping all the time in the bathroom so the floor is constantly wet. Other than that, its really nice. mazing green garden!

Me deje llevar por los comentarios buenos que habían y fue la peor habitación en todo un mes en ubud, viendo el estado de la habitación se me ocurrió oler la almohada y fue asqueroso!!!!! Las sábanas sucias y el desayuno deja mucho que desear, hay hoteles mucho mejor en Ubud.

Rigtig godt!

Hotellet er super godt, og med en super lækker og varieret morgenmad, man selv vælger. Hotellet ligger kun 3min gang fra Monkey Forest, og der er en lille sti, som gør at man kan gå ind til centrum på 7min. Det kan varmt anbefales at tage på en af deres ture, hvor man køre rundt og ser de seværdigheder der er. Chaufføren er god til at hjælpe og vil gerne gå med rundt, og fortælle, det han nu ved, om seværdighederne. Poolen er super fin, stedet er velholdt og hotellet ligger i rolige omgivelser. Personalet er super søde, hjælpsomme og så snakker de godt engelsk. Alt i alt et godt hotel. Næste gang turen går til Ubud, bliver Garden View uden tvivl, det hotel jeg vælger.

Quiet and tranquil stay. Nice and beautiful gardens. Downside is the mosquitoes. Much as we want to relax in the balcony. No free coffee/tea in the room. Can't even boil water.
