Book here while in Tuscany

Residenza d'Epoca Palazzo Buonaccorsi is in an amazing location near the center of town. Quick walks to panoramic locations, restaurants and shops. Our hostess, Marzia, allowed us to store our bags while we waited for check in time to approach. She provided us with a map and many recommendations for dining upon check in and pointed out locations to take pictures. The hotel has a hidden patio to enjoy some wine and just relax in the evenings. The best part of our stay was the breakfast. Marzia and her crew delighted us with an amazing breakfast spread of various fresh cheeses, bread, fruit and cereal. As well as many Italian coffee options.

Wonderful staff! They helped, saved us when the gps failed. They went out of their way to make sure we had a nice evening. She walked some distance to our car and lead us. It was very kind! The room was absolutely beautiful. It was like stepping back in time to an Italian family treasure. Like a beautiful boutique, with a rich heritage. Peaceful, charming, with wonderful kind people. A little piece of heaven!

The room is clean and good enough for a little Tuscany town. Please reveiew what is included on the booking, I did not know that the room we booked did not include a toilet. Ehen we arrived to the hotel, the administrator told me it was a shared toilet and we had to pay an extra fee for a private toilet. The parking is far from the hotel.

Our host was exceptional! Usually she was on the premise but if not was easy to contact with any questions. She came in early for our early check in! Had plenty of recommendations not only about San Gimignano but surrounding towns. She made us a reservation for New Year's Eve having to call several to get us a spot! The location was perfect as it was close to everything, especially the unloading area! Although a breakfast was not available we were able to get a discount at the recommended bar which was very close. We would say there again in a heartbeat! Thanks for a great stay.

The property is a very nice 11Century building and is maintained impeccably BUT all should know the bathrooms are small, so small the shower head hangs from the ceiling and the drain is in the middle of the floor beneath it. There is a room that has no personal bath it is down the hall but has a regular shower

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly disappointed by the condition of my room. From the moment I walked in, there was a strong, musty smell that I initially tried to ignore, but it became overwhelming. The room itself felt incredibly outdated, with worn furniture. For the price, I expected a much higher standard of comfort and upkeep. Unfortunately, this hotel did not deliver on any of those fronts. I would not recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made. There are definitely better options in the area.

There is no WiFi in the room. Just a global router located in the lobby without sufficient signal. The free parking is just the village common parking areas, therefore is not guaranteed when you arrive and you have to look for a parking space around the city. Hidden fees were charged as we were told that our room didn’t included a private bathroom and have to pay extra for something we already booked. Finally, there is no air-con in the room nor tv, we couldn’t open the windows as there is a patio just outside and we didn’t want to lose our privacy. Room plenty of mosquitoes. Also the patio allows for customers to smoke which is very disgusting for non smokers like us. I don’t consider this a proper hotel.
