Hotel staff and service were excellent - warm, friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Michael & Alisha. The property is slightly dated but the location was great, central yet quiet. The rooftop bar offered a gorgeous view of the Bund.

Summer holidays to bring my girlfriend to Shanghai to play, live in Banyan Tree out of the door is the North Bund, very close and convenient, compared to the Bund, downtown. Olly at the front desk was enthusiastic and the other staff were great! The soaking pool room is worth recommending to friends!

Olly and Alisa at the front desk were very warm and friendly, and extremely polite. Due to the large variety of room types, the initial booking didn't meet expectations, but they later recommended a room type with a wonderful view! This trip to Shanghai was just amazing!

The view was amazing at the top and our room had an amazing view as well. The customer service here is top tier from the doorman at the front to the cleaning ladies. Everyone here was so welcoming and nice!

The unit has an epic view of the river, which is the best of the whole experience.
The bad experience can start with a bad wifi connection. the power outlet on the office desk section is broken. Hence they have to provide the power extension core. Also the fridge is not working as well.
Not to mention, somehow the AC was set at 30 degrees, which is hot as hell and cannot be changed and I have to call in a repairs guy.
Overall not a terrible experience but definitely did not hold up to its standard.
