職員錯誤指示泊車地點，引致泊錯停車場，要繳交相等於泊車費三陪的罰款，令我相當不滿意。乾衣機性能極差，不足3kg的衣物，乾了三次共1.5小時都未乾到！

Many poor design choices; overall incredibly dated

4 nights solo in room 1604, May 2025. Probably the best view across the harbour/city from any building in Wellington. But... -Tiny shower box -Low shower pressure (but good temperature) -Also low shower head (heightwise) -Ridiculously big bowl sink in bathroom leaves barely any space for personal items -Tap for bathroom sink on bench, not over sink, so you drip water everywhere whenever you turn the tap off with wet hands -Heater and 2 lights not working - reported and apparently fixed but 1 light only intermittently and the heater never worked -No extractor fan in bathroom -Not enough rails or hooks across bathroom & kitchen (none in kitchen, one hook in bathroom and rails above toilet if you want to hang your towels above the toilet) -No kitchen cloth/sponge, tea towel only -Wobbly kitchen tap -Kitchen items in open cupboards -Microwave overdue for safety inspection (not something I would normally take notice of, but if you're going to display the sticker prominently make sure it's up to date) -Uneven mattress -No dresser or anything in bedroom to put items in/on -2 TVs but neither with the ability to screencast -Can hear the lifts from the bedroom No Wi-Fi network called 'Mercure' anything, I had to call the front desk to ask what the network name was and they took 10 minutes to answer the phone. When you exit the lift there are no signs to direct you to your room, and in the lift down low there's an access panel and a 'swipe here' sign - put the sign at eye level!

Central City Stay

The hotel situated right in the central city. Many restaurants, cafes and shops in the walk distance. Apartment with 2 bedrooms and kitchen is big enough for 4 of us. No AC only heater. Noisy in the morning (around 4am) because the rubbish truck coming to collect the rubbish from the restaurants/bars behind the hotel. Overall: It's a good stay for 1 night. That what you get for the price and in the central city

Windy Welly

Had a heater blowup on first night and trigger fire alarms. Had to be moved to another room. Otherwise place is ok for few nights. Doesnt have inhouse parking which is a pain and have to use street parking or wilson parking.

Basic but decent value

We had a good long weekend stay. It's basic with some cleanliness and wear and tear issues. The view was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. There is no double glazing or air-conditioning so it was either hot or there was street noise. The shower leaked over the side and the toilet struggled to flush. There were renovations so we had no carpet down in the hallway and then had no access for a few hours while carpet was installed. Staff were good at letting us know and fixing what they could. Overall it was a good budget stay in a greay location. Would stay again if the price was right.

I loved the ease to check in, the space in my room and that I had 3 windows facing in 2 directions so lots of city view. This hotel is central to almost everything and I easily walked to the waterfront, museums and Cuba Mall amongst others. The staff were lovely and so helpful. Just a great stay.

Given the price of hotels in central Wellington, it was reasonable VFM. I only interacted with two people, the person who checked me in and the one who checked me out. They were both very nice and efficient. The apartment was small but had all you need (and all that was advertised). Like a lot of New Zealand hotels, it gives the impression of having seen better days (I think it must be a tradition or something)

Decor was absolutely repulsive with stains and so dated. Construction all around which was not mentioned in the booking. And when checked in we actually got the wrong room and was adjusted when we complained with literally no compensation. We actually got someone else’s room. Very poor probably the worst experience so far in NZ
