The Bowens was a wonderful relaxing place to stay. The hosts could not have done anymore to make us feel welcome. The weather was fantastic so we were able to utilise the wonderful surroundings. Breakfast was great, it had everything that you could possibly want, and we were able to eat this in the garden each morning. The location was great, with a shop and 2 pubs in the village. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend the Bowens for a relaxing break in this area

Had a two night stay and received a warm welcome from first contact, check in and throughout stay. Very well appointed and a great location. Easy walking distance to two pubs. Great food available. Had nicely cooked tasty breaded h day with good choice of items.

Location, location, location. And some.

Beautiful location and friendly, helpful owners. The location in a small village gave us opportunities to explore locally. Our hosts provided a set of circular walking maps that gave us access to our reason to be there. Stunning countryside and a really nice pub serving very good food made our stay complete. Would happily return to stay again.

A wonderful stay

A really lovely b&b. Greeted by Kevin on arrival and shown straight to our room looking out over the beautiful garden. Breakfast was substantial and fantastic with plenty of choice. We would definitely stay again. Meeting Bella and Hardy was an added bonus! Thank you for sharing your fabulous garden with us.

Lovely & quiet setting. This is our second time here and will use again. Very enjoyable sitting on the veranda having breakfast each morning. Beautiful grounds to enjoy too. Both visits the room cleanliness was spot on. Thank you.

A couple of days break

Host were friendly, welcoming , room was cosy, and clean and bathroom had a bath . Breakfast. Good if I had a negative I like toast hot as it was cold and a bit anemic one day . Cooked breakfast was good .

The accommodation is of extremely high class which is set within a high class area in a quiet village location. It is a lovely quiet out-of-town area which is extremely peaceful and safe. it is recommended for taking a car as buses run on the hour until 6pm as there are lovely sights to see. Taxis are available which are clean and tidy. It is an extremely lovely area for hiking if you do not want to go into Hereford and the surrounding towns. The accommodation was immaculate. It is of a separate accommodation from the house which consists of a very clean and well equipped bathroom and a good sized bedroom. Breakfast is delivered to your room which is a bonus. All in all a lovely high classed area and accommodation. The owners could not have been more helpful. It was a lovely break.

Lovely B&B, the couple were both very kind and welcoming and ensured we had a fabulous time. The breakfast was delicious, great quality local produce, really set our day off to a good start. The room itself was very cosy and comfortable, had everything you could possibly need with tea and coffee, a television with Roku box, umbrella, torch and walking map too which was just an extra special bonus especially if you like to go on walks/hikes. I would definitely recommend to anyone and would love to return again. It was a peaceful, tranquil stay, which is just what we needed

A lovely stay

I stayed alone at Bowens for the weekend and had a very pleasant visit. Host was welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and plenty of pillows and blankets. I couldn't fault the cooked breakfast, coffee and orange juice I chose. I also loved the fact you could have it delivered to your room or choose to have it over looking the lovely garden.
