Hotel staff was awful, a deceiver.
I was very angry and disappoint to the female front desk clerk on 17th Oct. evening at ibis Navi Mumbai because of cheating.
I asked hotel staff to get a taxi for me heading to airport, she answered outside taxi(around 800 Rupee) or hotel car? I said outside taxi is fine. A nice mele staff help me but no taxi nearby due to rush period. I turned to female staff and told her I choose pay higher price(2520Rupee) for hotel car. I support the car should be in the hotel but I wait for another 20 mins. When I get in the car and found the car doesn’t look like a hotel car, just like a taxi. I asked the driver, driver told me this is Uber not hotel car, hotel staff order online.
Hotel charge me 2520Rupee should provide me a nice hotel car but ibis navi gave me Uber instead. The Uber driver told me he only receive 7 or 800Rupee not 2520Rupee. I trust ibis is an international company with good reputation, this is totally not acceptable. The truth is ibis navi overcharge me 1720Rupee and lost my trust as well.
If ibis navi want to add some surcharge I can accept it but need to notify in advance. But when I stayed at ibis Liverpool and Leicester, the hotel staff were nicely to get the taxi for me and did not ask for surcharge. I still believe ibis is good franchises hotel, but not in ibis navi mumbai.
