The room was for handicap and we are not. The staff is nice but not very useful. The breakfast room is horrible as well as the food choices. They're renovating?? The same boxes seem to have been sitting around all summer. There are signs that say ice and vending on every floor, not true. So what and where are they renovating??

First off, despite the ongoing renovation, the important stuff was on point. Our room had recently been updated. Mattress was new. Hot water was hot. No outside noise filtering in. Modern key cards. The only minor downside would be breakfast. If you’re expecting a hot meal, there won’t be one. There was a waffle machine, coffee pot, Pop Tarts, and some “Great Value” brand wrapped fruit bars. If I was traveling through the area, I’d stay here again.

Room was 91 when I checked in. staff insisted that the AC would kick inn and cool the room in 15 minutes. It did Not. was able to change rooms but I wonder if they try to save money by not cooling the rooms prior to check in, not a good plan when the heat index is 103.
