We didn't expect much, but we were pleasantly surprised.
The hotel is a boutique style, very clean, and the room we were in was huge in comparison to some high-end hotels.
Nothing was broken. We had sufficient amenities and, believe it or not, an abundance of clothes hangers!
We didn't use the pool because we spent time with friends at a nearby villa, but the pool was clean, large enough, and the sunbeds were plentifully available. We would walk past at 10:30 am and still see sunbeds free. (We travelled early Sept, so not sure what it would be like in August).
The clientele were mainly older, 60-70-year-olds, at a guess? At 46 I felt young! :)
Room for Improvements:
Breakfast was basic, but actually not as poor as some reviews I've read. Bacon was good, beans and eggs. It would be great if poached eggs were an option, and decent sausages. Not sure, as we didn't ask, but lattes would also be nice instead of the Urn coffee.
We ate on a Greek night (Sunday) for our only evening meal. It was nice, except that the chicken was dangerously undercooked. We left some as it was more than pink, but a bit fleshy. The next day we both had stomach pains/cramps, and my wife for a further 24 hours too. Luckily, it wasn't worse, but the Chef's chicken cooking needs checking before it goes out.
Lastly, cats! With so many strays on the island, it would be good if the Hotel discourages/bans guests from buying Cat food and leaving it everywhere. It stinks, and it's unhygienic.
