I booked a Deluxe Apartment for 4 people. It is supposed to be a 538 square feet apartment with 1 king bed and 2 single beds,a large living room or dinning room. But when my friend and I (2 adults) arrived, the receptionist was late for work and we have to wait outside for she to arrive and check us in. And she tried to sell us some tourist products like day tours. We did not take it. And we were then brought to an apartment that is exactly the same as Deluxe Apartment for 3 people on the website. The dinning room is very small, and it has 1 king bed, 1 sofa bed on the loft, and 1 bed stead under the sofa bed. The sofa bed and the bed stead are of different height that can not be made into one and are both less than 1 meter wide. It is not actually a bed and not comfortable at all. I spent a very tough night on the sofa bed.
We argued the room is not what we booked. But the receptionist claimed that they have 8 apartments, the order from Expedia does not guarantee the exact same room showed on the website, and the room she gave us is a 4 people apartment. And she claimed there is no other apartment left. So we had to take the only one. While it is the 3 people apartment no doubt. After the journey, I write to expedia, and the staff also recognise that the room we stayed (which I took photo) is NOT the one I booked. But the hotel just refuse to admit their mistake or to refund. The hotel staff is really dishonest and she has made the hotel a place people will not come back.
