Perfect place to stay! We had been traveling for over a month when we stumbled on Hotel Rey....it was our favorite place! Clean, safe, easy access, cute and charming! I booked this property at the last minute on arrival in Iceland after midnight. I had a VRBO reserved, that is a whole other story. I called and spoke to Gunnar at the property, he was able to confirm a room available and get me checked in on arrival. The room was clean, and exactly as described. The location was perfect able to walk to many Reykjavik sites, unlimited dink g and entertainment options, pubs, restaurants, music, shopping.
