This is a great hotel! We went on our honeymoon and had the best time ever. You should definitely use the airport transfer service offered by the hotel. It can be difficult to get to your hotel without getting lost, especially if you have a suitcase.

Wonderful unique location. Must be able bodied for this hotel, especially room 221. And absolutely book the hotel transfer wherever you are arriving from otherwise you will never find it - best most deserved tip I have ever given a porter! What an idyllic spot for 3-4 days

Our stay was amazing - the hotel staff were lovely particularly George on the bar ;) who was very attentive and immediately got familiar with our requirements. We very soon got used to the steps which is essential for getting around. Our suite was overlooking the caldera which was quite breathtaking. Our suite was clean and spacious and cool during the day - we received fresh towels every day.

The Nicest Property in Oia

Everything was fantastic other than our actual room. It did not have the Seaview that we had paid for other than that. The property is beautiful and in a good location to see the sunset and a lot less for traffic, which makes it more peaceful.

The views from the Villa are incredible. The pick up service and porters to bring your luggage down are a must if you stay here. If you have any physical limitations, find someplace else to stay. If you are in good health, definitely stay here. The service is excellent. There is nothing that you could need that they couldn’t help you with.(other than flush toilets.)🙂The views are incredible and the room was very comfortable and spacious. It made for the trip of a lifetime.

Oia Mare truly exceeded our expectations. The most perfect spot to watch the sunset and away from the crowds. Private balconies, the pool and rooftop made our stay extra special. The staff couldn’t do more to help you. Carrying luggage up and down stairs in Oia and providing a lovely breakfast each morning. George was fantastic and always on hand to help. We will be back!

Excellent area, great staff and service. Nice breakfast buffet. If you have any luggage you MUST use the porter service, it’s free, but you must tip the porter well, they deserve it! My advice is if you have more luggage than you need for this stay to pack what you need in a smaller bag. Many, many steps to climb, but this is true of any cliff side hotel.

The property itself is beautiful and very clean. The pool was very refreshing after a long day of sightseeing in the Greek heat. If you have mobility problems or are severely short of breath after the slightest physical activity…this property might not be a right choice for you because it is located on the hillside with many steps.

Great location and view. Very nice breakfast and extremely service minded and nice staff and driver. They organized everything for us an we felt really taken care of. We had a room by the lower sun deck, which we used almost like our own even if the hotel had a lot of guests. That was nice. If anything to the sound from tumbledryer and maintainance staff disturbed our days in the sun as the washingroom was located right by the sundeck. Without that disturbance everything would had been top notch.

Loved staying at Oia Mare Villas, the villa itself was clean, spacious and just perfect for my daughter and I. The stunning views were the absolute best thing. The staff, especially George and Ali were extremely helpful and friendly. George makes the most amazing Peach Ice Tea and Ali the porter was very kind in his demanour and climbing up and down all those steps is no mean feat but to do it with luggage is just unbelievable. The steps are the one thing we did not like as much, however the views from atop are so worth it! I would stay there again... even with the steps!

The location in Oia is amazing. The hotel views of the sunset were great and the location was convenient to all the shopping. The hotel staff were kind and helpful throughout. We stayed 2 nights at the Volcano View Villa & had a fantastic time. The villa is very spacious with two floors, nicely decorated, and offer a gorgeous view of the caldera. We had a quick check in. They arranged our transportation to amd vtom the villa. Snd the porter was strong enough to carry our luggages with all the steps he was a big help. Nice and pleasant staffs, Clean and spacious cave room with jetted tub. The pool was big enough for us, with a partially covered area that protect us from the heat of the sun. Great view of the caldera. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the hotel’s rooftop. Breakfast was delicious. The villa was walkable to the places we want to go. Quiet and safe place to stay in. Kastro Restaurant is just a few meters away, and Ammoudi restaurants is near. The view from Oia Villa Mare Villa is spectacular. We hang out by the pool everyday enjoying the view of the caldera. We would definitely stay here again.

Amazing staff, very polite and friendly! Highly recommend using transit service, especially if u have luggage or else u will be hiking and carrying ur luggage up and down the stairs. Room was clean and modern. But the view was everything! No need to be with the crowds to watch sunset, you can do it at the comfort of the balcony and enjoy a glass of wine!

Kind and friendly staff who went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. They booked dinner reservations, helped with ATV rental and checked in often to make sure we were comfortable. We were able to communicate with them via WhatsApp for anything we needed while out during the day as well. Housekeeping was great also, room was left spotless each day with fresh towels. Highly recommend this hotel even for the price. We stayed in the suite with the outdoor hot tub included - very nice feature to have at night with some wine (we visited in low-mid season - middle of May). If it will be your first time in Oia, be prepared for the stairs - lots of cardio but totally worth it when you see the views of the sunset. Oia Mare Villas has a great private rooftop with a perfect sunset view, a little small but we enjoyed it up there with a few other couples. Amazing experience!
