Clean room, excellent and attentive staff. Very welcoming. The breakfast was also very good. We felt safe and all of our needs were met. Not too far from the center of Puerto Plata, quick 17 minute ride. The beach is beautiful near by. They take you in a golf cart for free and you can be there all day. The facility pool was also amazing. I highly recommend this place and will come back when I come to Puerto Plata for sure! Thank you to Carolina and Joaquin for making our stay even more special.

Therè is no airport shuttle. We paid for our own about 68$ using Edgar Tours. Breakfast was limited to 3 options, not made to order as advertized. Breakfast was delicious and camw with fruit and hot drink.

Absolutely LOVED my stay at Ocean Winds Hotel!!! The service was beyond outstanding, the room was gorgeous, and the view was breathtaking. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. From start to finish, everything was perfect. I can’t recommend this hotel enough — if you’re thinking about staying here, DO IT! I will 100% be coming back!

Very impressive stay. It's like a mini resort. It has all of the fundamentals you'd look for in a resort, but on an intimate scale. I'd come back again. The prices at the restaurant are a little high for what is served. However, when you factor in the cost of going off site, and the quality of the food, it's not the most expensive. The food was good overall. Bookmarked and might be coming back

Nice to have a refrigerator, a microwave would have been nice. We did have to wait for 45 minutes for breakfast. It was a good breakfast. The gate was closed when we arrived so we had to park down the street and walk up to check in.
