Sunshine City Prince Hotel
"I stayed this hotel several times. It has been updated very well. We stayed at a corner room that is much bigger than other rooms. It was spacious and comfortable. It was worth to pay extra for a bigger room. I love the location, so I usually stay there when I visit Tokyo. The subway, JR, and airport bus are very convenient to access. Many shops and restaurants are right next to the hotel. No coffee was provided in the room, just teas. The bath room is simple, not big. That is why I gave 4 starts but overall, I love this hotel and will stay again."
Hotel Gracery Shinjuku
"Even though the room was very small, it was very well equipped. The most enjoyable thing was the shower. Centric location with quick access to the subway system. Unfortunately the area is not the nicest."
Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo - Shiodome
"Nice hotel, station is right there and easy to use, quick walk to Shimbashi and Ginza. Staff were nice and the amenities were good, including laundry which we did 2 loads of for around 1,000 JPY. Try and get a room with a window to outside rather than the inner building."
Tokyo Bay Shiomi Prince Hotel
"Really nice hotel that made for a comfy stay. The bath house and sauna were great and nice and quiet."
Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo Ikebukuro
"Location is good and the rooms are clean"
Apa Hotel Higashi Shinjuku Kabukicho Tower
"Perfect location"
Shinjuku Granbell Hotel
"Very small room. But good location, excellent breakfast, and nice clean property"
Hotel Metropolitan Edmont Tokyo
"The Hotel was very clean and my room was very quiet. A lot of staffing available to assist when needed. Very enjoyable stay."
KOKO HOTEL Premier Tokyo Bay Makuhari
"Clean and comfortable hotel in a convenient location near Kaihin-Makuhari Station. Friendly & accommodative staff and a pleasant stay. Highly recommended!"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Kawasaki
- Book for the cheapest times: The most affordable time to visit Kawasaki is in January, August, and September, when hotel prices are generally lower. For a budget-friendly experience, a stay of at least 2 to 3 days is recommended to fully appreciate the city's significant landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions. During this time, you can explore temples, enjoy vibrant festivals, admire beautiful flower displays, and even indulge in local shopping and cafe culture. You might also consider biking around the area or visiting nearby islands, all of which provide great value for money while immersing yourself in Kawasaki's rich heritage.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: For your trip to Kawasaki, start by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com to discover discounted hotel options. To further assist your planning, the Hotels.com app offers the Smart Shopping tool, a handy comparison feature to evaluate hotel prices and amenities, ensuring you’re promptly informed of any price drops or availability changes.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may fluctuate depending on various factors, such as the hotel's location, star rating, and the time of year. Therefore, being flexible with your travel dates could assist you in finding a more economical option for your stay in a hotel in Kawasaki. For those seeking distinctive experiences, boutique hotels might provide a more personalised touch and occasionally offer better value. When you make your reservation through Hotels.com, we will inform you whether the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average. If it appears to be on the higher end, we may suggest alternative dates that could help you secure a more favourable rate.
- Consider your location: Hotels in close proximity to the city centre usually command higher prices; however, thanks to Kawasaki's excellent public transport links, you may find a more affordable independent hotel a little further afield that is still conveniently connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could offer a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
