Pictures on website looker brighter than reality. But venue was ok for 1 night. A bit of a brush up would be easy to realise. Good restaurants nearby.

We loved the Platinum Hotel, convenient, clean and very friendly. The Omani lady at the reception was so kind! We arrived at 5.30 am and the reception was open! We loved the rooftop swimming pool to chill out. We weren’t expecting it to be so nice!

Nous avons apprécié l'hôtel. L'hôtel est situé à proximité de tout commerce. Nous avons une super belle vue sur la ville. Nous tenons à remercier le personnel qui a été très bienveillant. Seul inconvénients : pas assez de place de parking pour les résidents de l'hôtel

Luxury in ancient Oman
Noise from lift is annoying you can hear it from your room and the pool is my only complaint. Otherwise I had a perfect stay. Great for relaxing around the pool looking out on Muscat city and great view of the mountains. Delicious food, gorgeous design hotels close to shopping malls and not far from the beach and excellent staff is a great reason to check in here.

The only suggestion I would give the hotel to replace the mattresses. It’s sinking and causes lower back discomfort. Besides that over all was a good stay. Staff was friendly, but they can be a bit welcoming at the front desk. It makes a huge difference for incoming guest trying to check in.

Despite some ups and downs, the hotel was ok. Staff was friendly and helpful, the room was clean and breakfast was decent. The main disappointment for me was the rooftop pool: no service available; water in the pool stagnant, cloudy and visibly unpleasant; at one point the pool area was even used by some guests as a drying area for their sweaty shirts, socks and shoes ..disgusting! Also the jacuzzi was permanently out of service. For me the choice of hotel often depends on the availability of the pool, so not being able to enjoy the pool was quite a big deal. I sincerely hope the hotel steps up and starts taking better care of it's pool area for guests to enjoy. Greetings.

It was in the middle of alot of restaurants. We only stayed 1 night so did not use them. It eas about 110 degrees outside and when we got to the hotel it wasn't very well air-conditioned. They didn't even turn on the airconditioning in our room so it was like an oven. There wasn't even 1 towel not even a hand towel. My husband asked for some and they didn't bring them. I had to go ask again and they brought 1 hand towel we told them we needed bath towels also for a shower. The gentleman at the counter was very nice. He helped me to download and use the app to get a taxi. The place could be very nice but it is outdated.

Not worth, when you have better options.
The property needs urgent renovation and purchase of Guest Room basic requirements like, Hand and Bath Towels, Room Sleepers, Bathroom Toiletries, Bed Linen, Etc. Condition is very poor. Room Condition is good but rest of the things are very poor. Lobby and Restaurant AC is not working in required condition. Breakfast Buffet is not at all worth.
