Hotel location is good for transportation,just walk 3to4mins to overground station.Room is clean.staff is nice and helpful. Walk 8 min to reach mini store. One of thing I hate that is a noisy party make me can’t sleep at Friday night until 02:00.Overall is good.
We moved to this hotel because they have air conditioner!!! It was so hot and most hotel don’t have AC.
Moreover, they stored your baggage for free at the check out day.

Fantastic Hotel
The hotel can be easily reached by bus route #9, 10 etc, just few minutes' walk from the bus station. You can reach the major attractions within 1/2 or 1 hour. The staff are very nice. The breakfast is fantastic. The room is very clean. I would recommend Russell Court Hotel to all of you!

Good Hotel
Not providing full British style breakfast with limited choice of food. e.g. only boil egg was offered in their breakfast and no other choices of egg, there was no sausage nor baked beans offered.

Like sleeping in an ashtray
Like sleeping in an ashtray. The room had clearly been smoked on and used by a smoker. I awoke with a sore throat each morning and could smell stale smoke constantly during my stay.
I was telephoned had told to check in at another premises. Not too far away however I had a heavy bag and had already travelled a few hours. The advert shows a large breakfast offering. Ignore it there is none at all. The saving grace was the staff booking in who were very courteous and the 24 hour helpline who recharged my room key.

Awful.
Awful.
Bed side lamps not working the from day one to five and the hotel only apologised and said they couldn’t do anything about it, so we had to use the main lights and keep getting up and walking to the otherwise of the room to switch on and off.
The shower blocked and over flooded the bathroom on the third night, and no help was available as reception closes at 5PM the middle of the night helpline suggested we pour hot water down it with a kettle... - to an already over flooded shower and sink hole.
We awaited a response from the hotel and didn’t receive anything until the day we checked out (we had to contact them) in which they offered a later check out time which we accorded but felt it wasn’t enough considering we were up until 3AM ensuring the flooded shower water didn’t enter the main room and then we locked ourselves out due to scavenging the hotel for towels or anything of use to dry with.
The compensation was awful and we haven’t received any at all, and we’re threatened to leave or risk losing our security deposit, because we felt a 3PM check out wasn’t enough - (we checked out at 1PM, 1 hour after the checkout time of 12PM). Awful experience and won’t be booking again.
