Excellent stay in a beautiful place!

My room was very nicely decorated with Hudson Bay blankets and canoe art. The beautiful slate tile shower with a rain shower head (and 2 other shower heads) was very nice. Service was excellent. The food in the attached restaurant was really good too.

The room is outdated still comfy to stay, staff are nice and attentive, one downside though the free breakfast we thought the breakfast would be at the restaurant but they only serve muffins,cookies and coffee and it runs out quickly. Still good though, overall nice hotel convenient as well around the hotel, there’s groceries, restaurants or cafe around the area.

I don’t like the service, Washroom shower is not working, inspected by the receptionist but they said they don’t have some who can fix it, and they didn't want to give me a new room. There were no soaps/shampoo in the washroom and the room door was jammed I could barely open/close it.

My family had a wonderful time at Grande Cache hotel. The location is convenient for shopping, dining, walking. The room is amazing, clean. Shampoo, lotion and body wash are branded name which is different with other hotels. We will be back one day. In my opinion, the improvement point is breakfast which should be included in the packages. When I place a booking, the information show "breakfast included" but actually only picking cookies, fruit, tea/coffee at the small table. Not real breakfast which we can enjoy in the restaurant. It is not a big deal which hotel can have option to pay for quality of breakfast, especially for a family or busy people. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for your vacation.
