We had a wonderful two night stay at the Xara Palace. We were offered an upgrade (paid for) the the Presidential Suite on arrival - it was 100% worth it. The space was fabulous, wonderful bathroom and lounge area. The hotel has a private, secluded feel. The pool (5mins drive) is extremely relaxing, wonderful service from Noor and Izor who drove us there each day. Would recommend a drink on the terrace if possible, the champagne trolley is fantastic. We ate in the Trattoria (definitely recommend) and explore local restaurants in Rabat too. Will definitely be back.

If you want it all, this is the place in Malta

The Xara Palace is nice but not as spectacular as what we see all over Malta. I think a bit of a revamping could be useful. All in all a very good place to stay.
