Lovely well maintained and room with comfy bed. Bottle of water was a welcome addition. Plenty of parking and was great. Welcome, service and food were super. Highly recommend and have a great outdoor space for summer.

Warm welcome on arrival and personally shown to our room which was overlooking the courtyard, so would be nice and quiet. Good room facilities including coffee machine. Ate in the restaurant where the food was great. Rate included a continental breakfast which was all we needed, but there is hot options if you wish. Great one night stop over.

Old pub in excellent condition. Varied menu, good quality and value. Comfortable and quiet (room 3) room with hot shower this morning. Continental breakfast selection is good.

The staff here are all so friendly and always happy to help with anything you need. Lovely quiet area and convenient location. Nice standard room with good size bathroom. Are only negative was lack of drawers in the wardrobe. We had to store our item's on the floor 😒

Not a thing to disappoint us!

Very pleasant and helpful Manager and staff. We had a nice-sized room, a little basically furnished but adequate and very clean, with a very comfortable 6’ double bed. Menus gave us a good choice and the food was enjoyed. Very good value for money and, when in the area, this would be our first choice of accommodation.

The hotel is very charming and the staff are friendly and courteous. Bernard, the manager/owner (?) was very attentive. Two down points, minor from our perspective: It's's near a very busy road, although the noise is not too bad. Only serves continental breakfast on weekdays

Pleasant weekend stay

We had a nice stay at the Old Pheasant. The room was well decorated and the bed comfortable. The pillows are very soft and I was glad I'd brought my own. The bathroom is tight but very clean. There were a few niggles - a dirty glass, music playing from the kitchen stores outside our window which meant we had to close the window although it was hot. There was no breakfast option available. The dinner in the restaurant below was excellent and the serving staff were lovely.
