One night in Milan
It was alright, we had two unfortunate experiences that put a wrench in our stay, but apart from that the place is nice.
The negative part:
We were supposed to receive an email with instructions before our arrival - which we didn’t, so it was a bummer having to fill out the registration info upon arrival. Another thing was that Hotels.com description said the check-in starts at 15:00 - which is true, and the check-out is at 11:00 - which apparently is not true. The cleaning man knocked on our door at 10:30 and started rushing us to get out saying check-out was at 10:00, which jo one informed us of… those two experiences kind of made the stay less enjoyable.
The positive part:
It was an ok stay overall. The man who let us in was pleasant, the room was pretty clean, the shampoo/shower gel samples were small, so I suggest bringing your own. Towels were very nice, the bed is soft (slightly squeaky, but it did not disturb our sleep), but the hotel is very central, so there’s a lot of noise happening. But the hotel is easy to find, and there’s plenty of restaurants, cafes and shops that are easily accessible! There’s a hairdryer and a kettle in the room, which was nice too.
