Keep in mind that laundry is 10€ and drying is another 5€. The double bed room I stayed in also had a shared bathroom, but it was kept clean. There was also a kitchen that I didn't end up using.

Fantastic stay in great area

Just found out that this place is literally illegal so don't make our mistake and contribute to the housing crisis.

Room was clean, had necessary amenities. Great view as well. If you’re looking to spend a lot of time in the room this probably will not be it for you. Apartment was nice, did the job of accommodating for just sleeping. Host was very communicative as I was arriving late. Note, there is no “check in” desk or anything like that, host needs to come let you in to the building which might take a few minutes as they run around to other apartments as well. Overall I’m easy to please, I enjoyed my stay. Bathroom was clean, kitchen was clean. There are tons of good shops around.

We let the host know when we were getting there in advance as they asked and kept them updated. We waited outside for 45 minutes before finally calling the host. We rang the doorbell to enter the building and two residents told us to be careful which was unnerving. We finally figured out how to get into the apartment and it felt like we were being snuck in. The greeting was unfriendly. It was clean and worked for what we needed. Then we figured out that this is operating illegally under local housing laws in Barcelona. Do not contribute to the housing crisis and support this operation.
