We loved this rental! The host called us on our way to confirm and we had great communication during our entire stay. Keys were easy to find, paid parking pass was worth it (though there was plenty of street parking), convenient store in the basement, and very hot water which I LOVED! My family of 5 was able to comfortably sprawl out and enjoy ourself. Thank you Margarita! Your home was so lovely.

It didn’t appear until later in the process that there was a a large “facility/property fee.” The room rate per night plus tax was quite reasonable, but adding in the above fee made the rate excessive. The rate increased several hundred dollars. In addition, those with allergies and/ or asthma need to know the despite warm weather, the a/c isn’t turned on in the building until May 15. My husband has several health issues and didn’t do well in this apartment. Due to this, we called the host to cancel but were told there was no time frame given in which they would get back to me. The unit was sparsely furnished, especially the kitchen. There were no dishcloths, dish towels (only paper towels; the smallest roll I’ve ever seen!) no ice, condiments, the oven didn’t heat up to temperature. The most challenging was that the check in information was buried in an email in super small print and numerous websites were necessary. There was hotels.com, which is really part of Expedia.com, key cafe for the room key, another website for parking, and the apt concierge who told us where our room was.

It was a really good stay. This is an apartment building where a lot of people live. The space was functional and a wonderful base for visiting the DC area. Very easy to walk to the Metro. We did have some difficulties although it did not cause any significant problems. I am only mentioning because I wished I had known before arriving. They appeared to be painting and replacing carpeting in the hallway to access the apartment. This will be really nice once it is finished but we arrived late at night and it felt pretty dodgy. Once we figured out they were improving the hallway area we were not concerned. The process for getting the key could be explained a lot better. I feel like a parking pass should be included with the fees being charged, but if not I feel like the process for getting the parking pass could be explained a lot better. I do strongly recommend getting the parking pass for the building because the street parking is not easy at all. The pictures in the listing were very confusing to me. I wish there was just one or two pictures of each room of the apartment instead of 50 different pictures, some of which were pictures unrelated to the apartment we were staying in. Again, in summary, it was an excellent stay. I would definitely stay here again. Just making a few notes to help future travelers.
