Very lovely location and very remote and safe compared to the rest of the town. The waterfall house is a full house with all amenities and is an absolutely fabulous place to stay. The cabins are cute and we had the place to ourselves but if we visit the big island again we will be sure to reserve the waterfall house for the full stay because it’s just so wonderful! Staff was very helpful, peaceful, clean and quiet.

Bring mosquito repellent. Waterfall was nice. If frog croaking sounds bother you bring ear plugs. I found it peaceful. If fact I found a frog in my room the first morning.

What an amazing experience to have a beautiful little cottage, nestled in the rainforest area with a beautiful waterfall looking right out. Your door via accommodations were wonderful, Axel the owner was just a delight if you ever want an off the beaten path, but not that far away from Hilo beautiful experience where you could swim and experience your own private waterfall. I highly recommend it.

Clean and private cabin within earshot of waterfall and a million coqui frogs. Friendly and helpful staff provided all we needed for a relaxing stay. The only negative we experienced was the poor WiFi, which we needed for trip planning and checkout.

I loved the disconnect from everything while being so close to Hilo. It was a beautiful and welcomed country retreat with the sound of the frogs and waterfall and rain to lull us to sleep! We had an amazingly comfortable time and enjoyed the surroundings immensely. Thank you so much! Mahalo!

This place is surrounded by nature. It’s a glamping experience as you are surrounded by the waterfall and various animals. You can even swim in the waterfall. They have 2 restrooms and showers, kitchen, dining, and tv about 20 feet from your sleeping area shared by guests from 3 lodges. They clean the restrooms and kitchen area daily.

Check-in was a bit quirky, but the location is great with a beautiful backdrop. Note: there's no AC, so it was a little warm at night. We briefly didn't have hot water and stove gas, but it was fixed within an hour. Overall, I’d recommend this place.
