La stanza era spaziosa mentre il lavello del bagno un po’ ristretto; Si potrebbe migliorare l’insonorizzazione della camera poiché una delle quattro pareti è costituita da una lastra di vetro satinato con una fessura lungo la parte alta della stessa. Il personale molto cordiale e disponibile, sempre raggiungibile per qualsiasi evenienza.

Our stay at Calypso was perfect. We stayed for six nights. Conveniently located across the street from the Palermo train station so we could take numerous day trips from the city center. It was also a 10 minute walk to the historic downtown where you will find everything you need for your cultural, historic, and food immersion into this amazing city. The host was so kind. He upgraded us to a better room for the same price. He answered all of our questions, including where we could do laundry nearby. Gave clear instructions and guidance on how to get to the property and enter the building. It was an unbelievably secure building. You need a passcode to enter the building, a code to enter the suite floor, and code to enter your room. The restaurant options nearby give you plenty of price-level options, which you wouldn’t have if you stayed in the historic center. We highly recommend this place based on the kindness of the host, the location, and the value for price.

I think it’s important for people to know that this is simply one apartment with 3 rooms. There is no reception or structure beyond that. One great thing is the host puts a water cooler in the kitchen, which is very handy and we appreciated. It’s right next to the train station and it’s 15 minutes walk from the main historical area. We had one serious problem which was running out of toilet paper. If the host was coming into the room every day to close the window shades, he needs to check the toilet paper amount and add a spare. It’s a basic need.

We were booked into a room up some stairs, as my wife has recently had knee surgery these were very difficult for her to navigate. Our host was very kind and moved up to another room, although we paid a little extra, this wasn't an issue, as we knew he would have to compensate the other guests for moving them when they arrived. The room was clean and tidy, beautiful white sheets and towels. The shower was really powerful with lots of hot water. There is a communal area, kitchen with fridge freezer, stove, microwave and cold water dispenser, which was a god send. The location being across from the bus depot and train station is ideal for getting around the island. If you are arriving before 01.00 am, the bus is €10 return or €6 one way. You can get a shared taxi for €8 if you don't mind sharing.

建物のロック解除ナンバーを事前にチャットで伝えられていなかったため、夜中3時まで外で待つことになった。夜中3時に建物の中に入れたのも他の宿泊者がたまたま戻ってきたため。安全が脅かされ、怖い思いをした。施設の中については清潔で問題なかった。ロック解除の問題がなければ立地を含めてパーフェクトだったのでおしい。

Economy room near bus and train station

Price was excellent for economy room. Bed was comfortable and room size was good. Location was right beside the train and bus station and in walking distance of the historic centre and tourist area and 30 min walk to beach. It is contactless checkin that requires your passport to be given to your host online prior to arrival, which is a hassle and we would prefer to actually meet the host at checkin. There was a kitchen area in a common room with fridge in shared area and also laundry facilities in the building I believe although we didn’t use either except the fridge. The area was very noisy and so couldn’t open window for the noise. My husband didn’t sleep well because of the noise and the traffic. The area is also very dirty. There is paid parking very close €25 per day in parking garage also hourly parking €2 per hour by the bus station. Also free parking in lot nearby but there are some homeless in that park area that tried to scam us to pay for parking. It’s an economical stay but we didn’t like the area. We would rather pay more and get place in better area.

Todo muy bien, muy céntrico. Y la atención del hostess excelente. Lo único que me gustaría escribir es que no teníamos jabón líquido para manos. Y no ponen shampoo tampoco. Solo eso como observación para mejorar el servicio. De todo lo demás bien 👍

Toppenfint med toppenläge!

Superfint rum alldeles intill tåg- och busstationen. Lyxigt med badkar i rummet! Kök med allt en behöver tillgängligt utanför. Jättebra kommunikation från värden med massa tips och enkelt att ta sig in med hjälp av kodlås. Lite livat utanför pga det centrala läget så ta öronproppar om ljud är ett problem, men i övrigt toppen!

Nous avons fait une courte escale à Palerme avant de rentrer en France et nous sommes ravis de notre choix. L’hébergement offre un excellent rapport qualité-prix, il était très propre, et surtout, notre hôte a été aux petits soins et extrêmement disponible : excellentes recommandations d’activités et de restaurants, aide précieuse pour trouver un trajet vers l’aéroport… le tout en un anglais et un français parfaits !

Lovely room, just like the pictures. The shared dining/kitchen area is handy too. It was lovely taking a bath and watching tv after a long day exploring Palermo. The balcony faces straight on to the train station/bus station, and there is noise from the street through the night.

Excellent logement !

L'accueil de l'hôte était excellent. Il a été disponible pour toutes mes questions, rapidement. Le BNB est très bien aménagé, chaleureux, calme, propre. Je n'ai passé qu'une nuit, mais je serais bien restée plus longtemps. Si je retourne à Palerme, je reprendrais ce BNB
