Stayed one night. Good, convenient location. Hotel room was decent. Seemed like it may not have been vacuumed. Bed was comfortable. There were no cups in the room for water, which was a little weird. Breakfast was fine, mostly carbs. The breakfast room itself wasn't very clean. Coffee was out, and no one was around to ask to refill it.

Cockroaches-bugs

Had to leave at 1am the first night of our stay because of cockroaches. The girl was new and didn’t know how to help, manager wouldn’t answer the phone. Told me they would cover extra cost of a room at another Hilton hotel, but that wasn’t true. They then charged my card 3x over the next 3 days, almost $900, then told me it was only 2x and that they were being nice by refunding me at all, because they don’t refund if you book through 3rd party, and to call my bank. When I called back to tell them it actually is 3x, they stopped answering the phone. The place is also filled w mold, that they cover w paint. You can smell it as soon as you walk in the room. The carpet was so dirty, my socks were grey. I was expecting more from a Hilton hotel. I’m afraid to bring my luggage inside my house, afraid to bring bugs in. Also random people hanging out by the front door. I wouldn’t have left a review, if they would have handled it different. This ruined by whole weekend, I had to drive 2 hrs back home and then back the next morning, ruined my experience that we were looking forward to all summer

You get what you pay for

Check in and out was easy. Bed was clean and comfortable. Air conditioning didn’t work well. No hot breakfast provided and can’t take food to your room to eat per front desk staff and sign in lobby. Bathroom not very clean, don’t recommend the community hygiene products. Pool appeared nice.

Stay was ok, but not sure ill be back

First impression was the elevator floor, yellow and sticky. Sticky stuff on night stand. Room had a wierd smell. Bathtub had holes / chips in it and had been patched... just not very anesthetically pleasing... i expected better from Hilton.

Not kid-friendly

The room was clean, which I appreciated, but several issues made our stay frustrating. The toilet would only flush if you held the handle down until everything went down. The tub stopper didn’t work, which was a big problem with two six-year-olds who needed baths after a day at the waterpark. The front desk told me none of the tubs in the entire hotel work, and there were no rooms available with a functioning tub. The door to our room wouldn’t latch unless slammed, and breakfast was disappointing just bagels, cereal, and muffins, with the yogurt machine out of order despite the hotel’s advertised breakfast. While the cleanliness was a plus, the lack of basic functioning amenities and misleading advertising made the overall stay disappointing.

Awesome stay for the right price

I loved the big bathroom. The shower was awesome! The room was clean. The 3rd shift attendant was super cool. We were bobtailing to pick up a 53' construction work trailer at a job site. She accommodated us with no problem parking our semi ,and a smile and a joke to boot. The continental breakfast was just right. Bagels, muffins and cereal. Fresh hot folgers coffee. Ice cold milk ,oj and apple juice. And last but certainly not least, we were hooking up the trailer about 2 mile down the road, i get a phone call from the hotel. The man tells me that i had left a bag in the dining area. I couldn't think of what that cpuld have been. I double checked the room and decided it must be someone elses. Come to find out, it was my purse that had my drivers license, medical card and other important articles. I was very thankful they called especially when they did. because we were headed to benton harbor to drop the trailer off and head back home to fayette ohio.

Filthy and Need of Repair

We chose to stay here because it was a Hilton hotel. Unfortunately, this was the worst Hilton hotel I've stayed. The property appeared in disrepair. The paint was chipped and peeling, it seemed there was a mechanical issue with the elevator, and the common areas were not air conditioned in July. When we opened the door to our room, we were immediately hit with the smell of smoke. I contacted the front desk and asked for a different room or refund and was told that was not possible. If these things weren't bad enough, there were dried buggers on the bathroom wall and hairs in the shower. Overall, this hotel is filthy, mismanaged, and in need of maintenance.
