I got a very noisy room, and even with earplugs it was difficult to sleep properly. There is a main highway right at the foot of the property and my room gave directly to it.
Despite asking to change rooms, I was met with a response that said: “we can change your room but you need to get Expedia to cancel your stay so we can book you in another room”.
I followed instructions: I contacted Expedia, but suddenly the hotel was not reachable anymore. For 2 days… Expedia even had their special team to help move the case but the hotel was not reachable.
So I had to stay 2 more nights in one of the most noisy rooms I have ever experienced. I felt the hotel lack of accountability was frustrating, and I wouldn’t recommend the service, nor the rooms there.
