We'd had a bad experience with another hotel requiring us to move at short notice. The service at here was infinitely better. Comfy spacious rooms with everything you'd ask for. Staff were friendly and the food was very good. Breakfast was brilliant and parking availability couldnt be better. Very pleased we stayed here and thank you for having us.

Great short break

Short weekend away near the east coast. Clean and comfortable room, fantastic hosting by the team and a great breakfast both days. Just what was needed!

6/10 Good

Disappointing.

Although bedding and towels were very clean carpet and chair were dirty. Room was tired looking. Looked quite rundown outside and spoilt atmosphere. Staff were very welcoming.

Good choice

Generally very good. Our room was small but adequate, clean and comfortable. We had three evening meals and three breakfasts. The dinner menu was ok but lacked much by way of vegan or vegetarian options. Staff were very pleasant. Easy travelling distance from Bempton Cliffs and Flamborough Head.

Lovely setting, rooms were delightful set behind the main building. Beautiful horses came up to the rear gate. Very friendly hosts. I’ll assume no glasses in the bathroom was a blip. Only one negative, amongst a delightful breakfast feast, the sausage disappointedly fell to pieces all over the plate. Would come again no problem.

Stay July 2025

This is a little gem of a place to stay. Our room (family room) was spacious, clean, comfortable, plenty of tea and coffee and the water was very hot. The team in the pub were welcoming and helpful and never once did we feel like an 'outsider'. The food is excellent with generous portions and there are a good selection of beers and lagers. Would we stay at the Bosville Arms again; absolutely 'Yes'.
Clive, 2-night trip

6/10 Good

The rooms are dated but clean enough. Bed Was comfortable. No hot water to the sink. Ashtray on the balcony not emptied. The pub it’s self is dirty windowsill are full of dead flies and insects, dirty carpets. The breakfast was good but the evening meal Was terrible do not order the steak. I appreciate it’s not making much money but would attract more Visitors if it was cleaner and served Better Good.

Well worth it

A small unpretentious established in a small village on the main road to Bridlington, which in fact is much better than at first sight. The rooms are set out at the rear, motel style, and are small but well equipped and perfectly adequate for a night or two. The pub, the only one in the village , has three well kept cask beers and a good selection of keg. The meals though, well, to say I had the best steak and ale pie ever in my 70 odd years would be an understatement. During the week the pub serves regular pub meals, but judging by the pictures on facebook the weekend specials look well worth the journey. The pub specialises in local produce, which is an added plus. The village itself is worth a wander, with a prehistoric monolith in the churchyard and some very interesting graves.
