Clean and comfortable rooms. Service from staff was great. Especially the staff during the evening /night shift. So friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was lacking variety. Missed not having proper tea! Otherwise overall a good stay in a cute town.

Breakfast options limited, all carbs and no non-pork options. Bottom floors in hotel suffer from upstairs noises at night when people walk around. Good location for visiting Grand Canyon, railway and other local sights. Only 1/2 hour to Flagstaff. Cafeteria doubles as game room that keeps kids entertained, though darts boards were closed down in late 2025.

They lied to us multiple times at check in. We told them twice in advance we needed conjoining rooms due to it being just me and my husband with four small children. They never told us in advance they didn’t have this, waiting until we got there and said they don’t even have them period? Twenty minutes after arguing they somehow found one and cleaned it for us? Not sure why we had to argue for almost an hour to finally get into the room we asked for when booking.

Friendly staff, clean & comfortable room, great breakfast. Unfortunately, the bathroom exhaust didn’t work, which caused the bathroom to smell musty, and made me question whether the discoloration in the grout was mildew. I wouldn’t mention it, but I did tell them about it early on and nothing wa ever done to address it.

Hotel was great. Lots of fun amenities. Neat atmosphere in room--retro camping. It was nice and spacious. Miss Kitty's restaurant offered horrible service. The waitress ignored us and from the outset knew they had messed up. The chef kissed our ass though and the food was good-large portions and good flavor.

Highly recommend!

Room was exactly as pictured. Super clean and very comfortable. Large breakfast room with the "usual" hot and cold breakfast items. We did not try Miss Kitty's, I was sad to miss it. Necx time! We will definitely be back.

Fabulous Hotel in a Lovely Setting

Our understanding was that this hotel was in very poor condition before the current owners purchased it. By far, this was one of the nicest, most comfortable and quiet hotels we stayed at on our trip. In fact, we stayed a second night after setting up in our room and seeing how wonderful everything was. The setting was lovely, and the food, both at the morning buffet and in the dining room in the evening was yummy.
