Is not worth the money

The rooms are super old! Super basic and old AC too. The stag was friendly and nice. They didn’t respect any of my benefits as a gold member of hotels.com. The food was boring, same stuff every day.

Excelente hotel muy recomendable todo

Casi nunca recomiendo un lugar pero iberostar cozumel es increíble los restaurantes de especialidades y el bufet muy buenos de hecho el bufet es tan variado y bueno diario que ni se antoja ir a los restaurantes de especialidades, la atencion es muy buena, todo limpio, show de excelente calidad, gym y tenis muy bien, los bungalows estan comodos y casi pegados a la playa, la playa es hermosa y los bares y snacks muy variados, tiene muelle por si quieres te pasan a buscar al hotel en barco, lo unico que no me agrado que cobran 20 dolares por ocupar kayacks y velero, los meseros de todos los bares atienden muy bien y los del show de alberca hacen buen ambiente y concursos, mi mama tuvo una caida leve y los paramedicos llegaron muy rapido a curar sus heridas, el hotel tiene muchos animales monos, ardillas , flamencos, loros eso es lindo verlos por el hotel, LO RECOMIENDO AMPLIAMENTE ESTE HOTEL, volvere pronto gracias!

Trop d’étoiles à l’affiche

Nous avons étais attirés par les avis très positifs de cet hôtel “5 étoiles” et nous avons étés très surpris. L’hôtel, récemment rénové, est situé dans un joli jardin. Les chambres sont confortables et spacieuses, mais basiques. Le ventilateur au plafond est un peu bruyant et impossible à éteindre. La plage est magnifique, mais il faut prévoir des chaussures pour entrer dans l’eau. La propreté laisse à désirer. Nous avons vu une vaisselle cassée sur la pelouse pendant plusieurs jours. Le club de plongée propose des prix élevés et le service est impersonnel, avec de nombreux plongeurs par bateau. Le point le plus négatif est la nourriture, qui est banale. Le restaurant “a la carte” mexicaine sert les plats du buffet. Attention, l’hôtel est très loin du centre-ville et le taxi coûte entre 20 et 30 dollars.

The perfect spot for getting away from the city. This resort happens to be the last resort south of the island, anything past it are jungles and beaches that can only be access during the day time. The famous "Cielo" and "Cielito" tour destination are close by and you could even use the resort's dock to call in your tour guide and/or get the tour from the resort itself. As for the service itself, great and friendly staff, the property is well kept and very in line with nature. I would recommend without a thought!

Travelocity information was poor. Did not send the terminal location. The airport is under construction. International flight left from a domestic terminal. Thanks for nothing for not sendibg the terminal for departure as we were at the wrong one. Parking was full. Would have been nice to know. Had a hard time getting the confirmation for the flight. Required for airline checkin. Why not just email it at the time we need to check in? Would be easy. In stead, much added stress.

Staff were generally lovely but I was disappointed in this place. Upon checkin they failed to give me the resort credits. I also had vip but they didn’t tell me about those benefits. Food was ok, nothing special, with a pretty good variety. I didn’t like that I couldn’t smoke a cigar anywhere. Won’t be coming again, disappointing. No room service. Good beach and pool.

We have stayed many times. The resort is nice. The food is sub-par, there just is not much flavor in anything so I just live on salads all week. $25 can to.town one way so rent a car for $30/day and go out to dinner.

Buena opción , recomendable

Bonito lugar con excelente playa, cuartos limpios y cómodos, buen servicio del personal muy amigable, muy buen bufete de desayuno y cena, restaurante japonés recomendable. Puntos a mejorar, restaurante mexicano no lo recimiendo, snack de alberca le falta mejor servicio y mejores alimento. Si te gusta el buceo hay un servicio excepcional pero con costo y algo caro.
