Perfect launch pad
Helpful staff. Room has everything needed for a overnight stay perfect to morning flight to next destination. 10 minute walk from airport uphill last bit. Had nice view of airport and surrounding hillside. Grocery store and awesome pizza within walking distance.

Great location with a view!!
The resort was in an amazing location and our view was incredible. Ari checked us in and made us feel very welcome. He recommended things for us to do, etc. the room was large and comfortable but our hot water was not very warm. When we called to let them know, they told us that their water there was not very hot. I told them it was pretty cold. No one checked it so we just dealt with it, The night before checkout we mentioned it again and Ari let us know that it should be warm and that it is not normal. He apologized and offered to have someone come up and look at it. Wish we would have gone to front desk and spoke to Ari sooner. Other than that, our stay was amazing. Restaurant was good option as well.

Basic room
This hotel is about a mile from the airport terminal on a hill. No one was at reception when we arrived and we waited several minutes calling out before a girl arrived to check us in. The room did nit have a hair dryer and when I phoned reception I was told I had to come to reception to pick it up myself. There is no shuttle to the terminal and a taxi costs about $20 USA. The pillows are hard as bricks and I really couldn’t sleep on them. Nothing fancy with the room, not even coffee in the room. The shower nozzle kept falling down so my husband rigged a knot in the hose to keep it up. Room served the purpose for a sleep on a 13 hour layover. No restaurant there either so the sleep is all it is for.

Overnight stay before early flight.
We spent a night here before an early morning flight to the US. It was a basic reasonable sized hotel room, with comfortable bed. It is right beside the airport but was quiet. There is no food on site and no restaurants nearby.

No the place you want to stay in Papeete
Staff were very friendly and it was cleanbut that’s about the only things that were good about the place. Didn’t even have a hairdryer in the room. Very old needs an update. Breakfast was not what one would expect.

Not a great stay
The hotel is within eyesight of the airport but is difficult to find. Our flight arrived in the evening late and directions to get to the property were not provided. When we called, they were also unclear. The hotel drive does not have a visible sign and is not well lite. Breakfast was sparse and you pay $12 each US for coffee, juice, cereal and toast. The majority of the tenants get to the property late and breakfast is over at 9 and it should be at least 10.

DON’T STAY HERE (& we aren’t travel snobs)
If you need a quick stay for a connecting flight, don’t taint your otherwise great trip by booking here. We arrived at 3:30pm on a steamy hot day (87°F). It’s close but walking up the hill isn’t feasible with a heavy bag. Even though it's close, taxi was still twenty US—the same as transport to the much nicer Hilton—1/4 of the amount is a "surcharge" to go uphill. There’s no A/C at the Faaa bag claim so we were very eager to cool off in our room before dinner. Check-in was smooth. There’s an elevator but it’s after taking 6-8 steps up. They have a “slide” to the side of the stairs which works for a small bags but heavy bags have to be carried up. The glass elevator and hall were warm & stuffy. We opened the door to room 315 and a blast of even hotter air came out. It was well over 95° in there. The small King room had a small wall AC unit that had been off for hours if not for days. The afternoon sun shined hot on the window. The room was uninhabitable. We turned on the unit and air barely flowed so it would not be bearable to stay in the room while waiting for it to cool. Frankly, it was a “oh he-- no” moment for both of us. We left the room and booked at the Hilton where we'd stayed on our inbound layover. The front desk lady was nice & gave me the manager's info. They refused to refund us. Invest a little more to stay where they keeps rooms ready for guest to occupy immediately after a long travel day! Also there's no food or bar, just a Chinese restaurant nearby.
