For the age of the hotel, and all of the storms that it has weathered, it is a great place to stay on a budget. It is well maintained and we felt comfortable with the accommodations. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We would recommend it to others.

The staff was very friendly. The hotel is really rundown and not well maintained. It smells like the room was a smoking room at one time. Breakfast is minimal and they ran out of everything.

It looks a lot better online than in person. It’s a motel where every room exits into the parking lot. There was a yippy little dog in the next room that needed to be walked about 5:00 am, and the people were very talkative. Very easy to hear. The air conditioner was extremely noisy, so we finally shut it off, but woke up extremely hot. Contrary to the name, we never saw the river.

Sheets did look wrinkled, but tried not to think they were not clean. Bath mat was folded up nicely but when I went to use it in the morning, it was filthy! Floor was gritty. Had to keep wiping off my bare feet. So now wondering if the sheets were clean?? Still trying not to think that!!

Check-in staff were kind but gave us a DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY room, exchanged it without fuss but unfortunately that room too was DISGUSTING! Got our money back and stayed else where.
