We were really pleasantly surprised by our stay here! The room was really charming — it felt like staying at Grandma’s house. The bedding was super comfortable and everything was very clean. Would stay here again without hesitation.

I enjoyed my stay at Plain Kate’s! My room was so cozy, with a very comfy bed. Lots of soft pillows and comforter. My room was very clean and tidy with very soft bath towels. Janice is so nice and accommodating! I would definitely stay there again!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The room was spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. There’s a charming market and several restaurants just a short drive away. I would definitely stay here again. The staff was exceptionally friendly and welcoming.

Staff super friendly and accommodating. Room very comfortable and clean. Location right off the highway, easy access to many things. Very quiet with nice view. Definitely recommend and will be going back.

This is an older ground level, attached buildings no frills hotel. If you’re looking for a reasonably priced clean room with no bells and whistles with good space for 1 night or more this is perfect.
The inn keeper Janice is very pleasant and always willing to help.

A basic motel of the kind not see too often these days. The rooms are well cared for and very clean. The manager is friendly and very helpful. She made some great suggestions about the area which made our trip to Franconia even better.
