Hell’s Kitchen disappointment!
This hotel has only bare essentials. No closet or even a hook to hang up a jacket. We had no hot water for a shower when we woke on Sunday and the curtains broke while we were there. It is not located in the Hudson Yards neighborhood despite the name. It must have been purchased recently as there is no obvious signage on the exterior, only a laminated letter sized sign taped to the front door. Very disappointing for the cost.

Hotel has great location, comfy bed, super white linen, spacious room & bath and friendly staff. Downside, is 4p.m. check-in and early check-out 10 a.m. Other than that, my stay was great.

Dirty sock in my sheets, cold water, no maid servi
The hotel was terrible. I didn't have hot water for most of the stay and was forced to take cold shower. My room was never cleaned nor was I offered even fresh towels. The last night I found a used sock under my sheets! I feel I'm entitled to a full refund and I also let the hotel know.

Hudson Yards Hotel has the makings to be a great option when it's finally finished. However, lacking any amenities ( not even a hairdryer or iron), water, etc., was a little off-putting, especially for the heavy $500 price tag.

Gross, over-priced NYC hotel
This place is NOT in the Hudson Yards. It's in the no-mans land between Times Square and Hudson Yards. The room was run down and gross. The carpeting is also gross. The front lobby is a UNWELCOMING as they come. I will NOT stay here again.

Nothing fancy..
This hotel is in a great location for exploring NYC, very close to the Port Authority and it's in a fairly quiet area. The staff are very friendly & helpful. The hotel is not instantly noticable because the name isn't very visible (A4 page stuck to the window, also had to put the actual address in for Uber). My room was cold, the heat wasn't working and I had to get an extra blanket (hard to get out of bed in the cold morning!) The toilet paper and bathroom products are cheap and there is no wardrobe or any hook to even hang your coat.

Recommend only if the price is right.
I booked the hotel because of its proximity to time square as we were seeing a couple of shows for the holidays and everything is in walking distance. It is a quirky place (decor, layout, amenities (indoor bocce court?) with a horrible view (we iverlooked the lincoln tunnel) and very limited room amenities (plush towels, in room coffee makers, heat) but the price was right, the staff was very accommodating, and there was a terrific parking garage a block away. This is not a luxury hotel. It is somewhat noisy, spartan, and has few typical amenities, even if you want to pay extra for them, but the beds are comfortable, rooms are reasonably clean, and price was great during an otherwise sold out Thanksgiving holiday week. Come prepared and enjoy NYC.
