Fabulous Boutique hotel

My husband and I celebrated our 55th wedding anniversary while in Charleston and decided to stay at the Restoration hotel, a beautiful boutique hotel that I’ve always wanted to stay in. From the very beginning it was perfect. A comfortable living room, all you would need in the small kitchen, including a full-size refrigerator freezer, very comfortable bed. and beautiful bath area. Breakfast was in a little picnic basket, set by our door in the morning, and was delightful. I strongly recommend this hotel as being an extra special one.

Lovely hotel, conveniently located.

We spent a long weekend in Charleston and couldn’t have been happier with The Restoration. It’s a prime location off of King St, so walking distance to everything. The rooms were gorgeous and spacious (we stayed on the residences side). It was like coming home each evening. The breakfast baskets each morning were a lovely touch as well as the 5pm wine tasting every evening! Service was extremely friendly and professional. I highly recommend this hotel—we would definitely stay here again.

Motorcycles & Horses

Fantastic location. Wonderful, clean city apartment. Will definitely stay there again when in Charleston...and as Asheville residents, we already frequent The Restoration there. Both are unique properties with owners that love motorcycles and horses...what more could we want?

A hidden gem

A hidden gem steps away from King St & College of Charleston. Beautiful blend of historic charm and modern amenities. The Library social hour was wonderful. Very friendly and accommodating. Yummy breakfast baskets and Rise coffee is a great start to the mornings.

Our home away from home in Charleston!

We had an amazing stay. Matthew was a joy. He went out of his way to get to know us and help with recommendations and reservations. Everyone was nice and helpful. The little things make the difference. The breakfast basket was lovely and the wine and cheese every afternoon was a great way to meet other guests. The Restoration is our home when we are in Charleston.

Dissapointing!

Disappointing! -pool heater broken -missing & covered up smoke detectors -room smelled like smoke -could not charge our electric vehicle at valet parking garage -comp breakfast was a plate of cheese -no water pressure -they gave us a different room than we booked so we didn’t have enough room for everyone. They made us purchase an additional room! -no reservations available for guests at hotel restaurant -lots of water damage throughout buildings Overall beautiful but very disappointing! & our valet was very kind

Can’t wait to come back

Our experience was first class and we were so happy with the staff, and grateful to Matthew for the friendly happy hour with sweet guests and the chocolate chip cookies were a hit before bed. Our room was beyond comfortable as well. Can’t say enough about the hotel and staff. We look forward to staying here again.

Great location

Our room was great and spacious. Cocktails were perfect and breakfast was a great treat to start the day. The staff were friendly and very helpful! Our room wasn’t ready so we left our suitcases with the staff. When we got back, the suitcases were already delivered to our room. How nice was that! You must have a drink in the rooftop bar.
