Perfect nice hotel in a good location. If you have mobility issues ask for a ground floor room as the stairs are steep and twisty!! Breakfast was nice.

The building is really old with rickety stairs! BUT our room was really big and airy and clean. Near to the river and nice pubs. Easy to find parking and nice check-in staff.

10/10 Exceptional

The hotel was fantastic the rooms were comfortable and clean breakfast was lovely we had 3 rooms and everyone really enjoyed it the only small inconvenience no lift and the stairs are very stiff but a small price to pay we would recommend this hotel to anyone and if we go to Ross again we will use it again excellent
Paul, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

This property is well located in the centre of town with easy walking distance to the river, cafes and town sites. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast and dinner are very good. The only downside is that rooms are accessed by very steep circular stairs and the car park is accessed by a very tight driveway and limited parking spaces. There is a public car park behind that is easier to access, but Pay and Display during the day. We very much enjoyed our stay in this heritage pub and feel the warmth of the staff made it easy to see past a few drawbacks.
Jeffrey, 2-night trip

The character of the property was so cool. Very old and quirky. Exactly what we were looking for. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.Emily, our host, was simply outstanding.
Tracey, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

Good location, comfortable rooms with lots of character. Unfortunate that my room was above the pub toilets and I was kept awake by the very noisy hand-dryer until closing time.
Jonathan, 1-night trip

Perfect central location hotel.

The hotel is right in the heart of Ross-on-Wye. It has fantastic staff that work really hard to ensure that your stay is perfect in every way. The restaurant offers exceptional standards of food for both breakfast and evening dinners. We will definitely return again in the near future.

Lovely quaint hotel

Stayed overnight when we had a wedding. It’s quite a quaint hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms had plenty of tea and coffee and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was great with a choice of cereals or hot food. We had a good stay
Rob, 1-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

The staff were genuinely friendly, and keen to help with any request in a warm and intelligent way, however busy they were. The bar had good chairs for relaxing in with a book and a drink, and there was another room to sit in too. The bedroom was clean and the bed comfortable. A really excellent breakfast, with lovely croissants, or the full English, with vegetarian option. I hope I manage to stay here again!
Louise, 2-night trip

Lovely, very old building with lots of character, great breakfast and a good choice of drinks. Access to the top floor is a bit difficult, if you have mobility issues, inform staff when booking, would stay again
