This is a very beautiful place. Very quiet and quaint, with the kind of peacefulness you need to relax. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but they dont have their own bathrooms. The hotel is very beautiful and dated, but I found it to be quite charming. I felt like i was staying in the hotel from the Shinning.
The restuarant on site is quite lovely. Nice harwood floors, beautiful wainscoting on the ceiling. A very nice setting for an enjoyable meal. The wait staf was friendly, food portions good, and price very reasonable. There is also a small bar, along with a nice wine list.
There is a spa on site, but it is highly recommend you make an appointment before you arive. I also enjoyed taking walks and bike rides down the many paved and dirrt roads that suround the property.
Other points to mention free wifi, secured parking, free breakfast, very beautiful grounds. If you are looking for that perfect place to unplug and get away, then this is the place for you.
