Set in own grounds, back from busy roads, providing good car parking facility. Spacious hotel, poiite, helpful staff. Good restaurant and bar facilities. Good breakfast choice. Good night rest.

Very welcoming, pleasant and helpful staff. Lovely old characterful building set in beautiful, well kept grounds. Rooms are a little tired but very clean. Our allocated room was rather drab in decor and also faced the busy road, resulting in traffic noise. On request, we were offered another room which was cheerier, brighter and quieter. Dinner in the courtyard was lovely and breakfast in the Garden Room was also excellent. We would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel within its own grounds, on arrival l was made very welcome by staff. My room was big with all the amenities to hand and spotless. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice on the menu to choose from. My all round opinion of the hotel is excellent.

Quiet, comfortable and secluded. Spacious rooms.Grand public rooms and helpful polite staff. Plenty of safe parking. This was our second visit and we would certainly return.

A little tired on that TV was terrestrial and shower unit one of those square tight units. Bathroom had heaps of space as did bedroom. Comfy bed. Heating control got the better of me. Service exemplary. Made me and my 2 well traveled miniture Dachshunds very welcome despite some less dog friendly guests. Great grounds. Very peaceful. Uniquely the hotel charge is £15 per animal per night! I am hoping the marketing manager does answermy email concerning this.

We were greeted by lovely friendly staff on arrival. The room was well equipped and very spacious. The king-size bed was wonderfully comfortable. Breakfast was a simple yet very tasty buffet style of cold and traditional cooked items. Again, the friendly staff were on hand offering toast and drink refills. All in all a lovely stay and we will definitely book again..

Sjarmerende klassisk engelsk country house. Hotellet er ikke moderne og bærer preg av fortiden men det var ikke negativ for oss, tvert i mot så bidro det til en enda bedre opplevelse. Utmerket frokost og fantastiske personell gjennom de fire dager vi var der. Vi kommer garantert tilbake
