Warm cozy place

It's a cozy place to escape from the big city. While we walk into the hotel, we received warm welcome right away. The people at front desk are very friendly and nice. Their breakfast are great. First night I found my bed mattress got problem, after I told them, they changed it right away. Not far away from Station (about 10 minutes walk), but it's located at a quite nice area. We are really enjoy staying there.

Not worthy for GBP at all. Disappointed.

Two big sinks on the bed, impossible, unhealthy to sleep on. Very clearly to see the defects when make up the room. Don't know why they keep using it for customers.

Great room and service

On arriving The lady on reception was very friendly and welcoming and explained everything to us including the wifi password and breakfast serving times, she also went to check the room was ready for us as we were a little early. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice ensuite shower room with a small selection of toiletries, also tea coffee and biscuits in the room. At breakfast the same lady was busy around the dining area taking orders and serving breakfasts which were very nice. And upon leaving she wished us well on our journey.

FINT HOTELL MIDT I SENTRUM

Jeg bodde her 1 natt ifm biltur i Lake District. Stedet ligger meget kort gåavstand fra Windermere sentrum. Parkering skjer på hotellets område Jeg ble meget godt tatt imot av vertinnen, men etter innsjekk var det lite å se av personalet Rommet hadde fin størrelse med de nødvendige fasiliteter; - vannkoker med kaffe, te og kjeks - TV - WIFI men ikke AC - stedet tilbyr utlån av vifter. Baderommet hadde også grei størrelse. Alt var godt rengjort og vedlikeholdt. En god og rikholdig frokost buffet + varm mat var inkludert 😋😋😋

This accommodation is perfectly located - less than 5 minutes walk from bars, cafés, restaurants & shops...less than 1 mile from attractions (World of Beatrix Potter) & the main hub. The staff were very friendly and helpful (my elderly Mum was incorrectly allocated a twin room, however the Receptionist promptly offered a replacement double room for her). The rooms were spacious and included a king sized bed (very comfortable), large tv, selection of tea/coffee, range of toiletries...however there were the occasional areas of improvement (cord for window blind too high, only one chair in a double room). Breakfast was great - large selection of continental items (cereal, mixed fruit, yogurts, pastries, toast, teas/coffee, fruit juices) & a range of hot foods to order...all top quality and tasty. The car park has a good number of spaces (albeit some of the 'bays' are narrow). If I was to return to Windermere, this would be my first choice to stay!
