Wonderful hosts!
Wonderful, kind hosts who took care of us on the day we were sick. They offered tea and honey in our room. George drove us to town on 2 days, saving us the bus hassle. Breakfast was wonderful: eggs cooked to order, fruit, toast, cheese, ham, lots of coffee! It’s important to communicate about entry on arrival bc hosts are only there in the morning. They will tell you where to find key to your room when you call. They did not communicate through this app, but by phone, WhatsApp. The walk to the bay is short, down a steep hill and, of course, up again. I recommend a day trip to Comino Island and, visit to Citadel and coffee at many places in Victoria. For sleeping, I like Xlendi Bay Area and this BnB.

Quiet and relaxing stay
Lovely, quiet bed & breakfast, with 2 lovely pools and sun terrace. Our room had a balcony with an absolutely stunning view. The staff were lovely and friendly, clearly family run. Be aware that you should let staff know when you are arriving, as reception is not always attended. The room had basic facilities, including kettle, TV and effective air conditioning, all in good condition and very clean. There is no hair dryer, so you will need to take your own. The breakfast is basic, but very nice, including meats and cheeses, yoghurts, a small selection of cereal and toast and delicious fried eggs/omelette cooked on request. It is a short walk to the Bay of Xlendi, which has lots of excellent restaurants and beautiful, safe sea in which to swim. I can't recommend highly enough for a relaxing break.

Value for money
Min mand og jeg boede fem nætter på San Antonio Guest House. Vi kan kun anbefale stedet. For os var det "value for money". Alt var som aftalt. Vi havde, som bestilt, et stort værelse med balkon og havudsigt. Vi havde desuden bestilt transport fra lufthavnen til stedet. Også dette fungerede til UG. Tjek ind var også, som vi var orienteret om. Stedet drives af et meget serviceorienteret og venligt ægtepar, som var til stede hver formiddag. Her serverede de morgenmaden, som var simpel, men velsmagende med godt maltesisk brød, hjemmelavet marmelade, skinke, ost, yoghurt, muesli, havregryn, mælk, tomater, frisk gedeost, friskpresset juice, forskellige former for æg, kaffe og te samt lidt frisk frugt. Vi kan absolut anbefale San Antonio Guest House, som i øvrigt ligger meget tæt på Xlendi Bay, men tilpas væk fra turistlarmen.

Restons sérieux!
Hotel propre mais installations vieillotes. Literie confortable. Sanitaires propres mais datés. Hotel tenu par une famille de personnes âgées (entre 65 et 80 ans!). Bonne volonté mais un peu débordée....MAIS problème rencontré un soir en rentrant vers 22 heures. Nous n' arrivons pas à ouvrir la porte d'entrée fermée à clef. Malgré de nombreux efforts. Derrière nous arrive une personne avec sa clef. Même echec, la porte reste close! Finalement, elle passe par les jardins en contournant le bâtiment...et passe par une porte fenêtre qui n'était pas fermée! Ayant appelé un responsable (pas de reception le soir) situé à 30 minutes en voiture, nous nous faisons copieusement insulté, moqué. Nous ne savions pas ouvrir une porte et aurions dû de toutes les façons....passer par derrière!!! Ubuesque...Le lendemain, tous étaient subitement plus prévenants, craignant une plainte de notre part sans doute!
